Welcome to the Forgotten Coast – where the beach meets resort style living!

- New home with 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, 1780 square feet

Our Cheerful Beach Cottage is a 1780 square foot home with 4 Bedrooms and 2 Bathrooms, just minutes from beach access.

The primary bedroom features a queen bed with Smart TV. The en suite bathroom has a double sink vanity with shower and separate tub with walk in closet.

There are 3 additional bedrooms:

Bedroom 1 : Queen bed with a 43" Roku TV

Bedroom 2: Queen bed

Bedroom 3: 2 sets of bunk beds with 32" Roku TV

The dining room has a table with 2 benches and 2 chairs that will seat 8 comfortably with a max of 10. Large full kitchen with island and seating for 3. The kitchen is fully stocked.

There is a full size washer and dryer and a starter kit of amenities provided.

The living room has a 55" Smart Roku TV. Please note there are no local television stations connected to the TVs. If you’re planning to watch a big game or something important, you’ll need to find a streaming service compatible with a smart TV.

There is a small backyard with a view of the water and the bay. There are chairs on the front and back porch and a bbq grill available for use.

There is an outdoor shower on the side of the house. A wagon, beach toys and beach chairs are available for use.

We have a 10 person maximum and 3 vehicle maximum. No third party bookings allowed.

Windmark beach is dog friendly and we are a dog friendly rental. We will allow dogs (less than 50 lbs) to stay at our home. Please note: we do not have a fenced in yard. Please follow all rules regarding your dog.

Great location

We went to go visit friends over the holiday weekend and this worked out very well for us. Also, it is very convenient to other sites that we wanted to visit. The host is very quick to respond to any concerns that you may have.

Great mini vacation

We were super surprised by the hoyse, and the community in windmark beach. House was really clean, nice layout, plenty of extra amenities. Towels, beach chairs, beach cart. Very nice. And the Windmark area was really cute. Boardwalks to houses, a great pizza place, 2 places to get ice cream, a coffee shop (with great coffee). We had just finished our 2 months on SGI, and was not ready to head north. Picked up this house for a “Mini” week vacation. So glad we did. Looking into staying next March. Hostess was easy to get ahold of. Very nice. Send a text on lady day, for check out procedures. That was nice, so I didn’t have to go back and look at agreements. Oh, and found a place in Port St Joe to get fresh shrimp. Highly recommend staying here.

Beautiful home, great location

This is a wonderful home in a great location. Easy access to the WindMark trail and boardwalk to the beach. Melissa was very responsive to any communication. Would definitely stay here again!

This property was immaculate and provided a safe respite as we waited out the impact of Hurricane Milton as it affected Anna Maria Island. Beautiful walking paths. Easy access to the beach. Dog friendly. Hosts were highly attentive!!

Family Bacation

First family vacation since our granddaughter was born 4 years ago. This was a perfect location. There were 7 of us and a Goldendoodle. Very clean, great location. Love the house and the neighborhood. We will be booking with you again in the fall.

Wonderful Beach House

We had a wonderful stay at this beach house. The community is great and very convenient. A short walk to the beach. Would love to visit again and will bring our electric bikes for the next visit as there are lots of walking/bike trails throughout the community. Our teenager also enjoyed the stay!

Lovely Home, Great Place to Chill!

House is great, spacious newer build in a quiet neighborhood steps away from the beach. We were looking for someplace low key to chill, exactly what this home delivers. Interior is modern and clean, more rooms than we actually used, great for kids and pets. Kids liked the empty 2-car garage and street for sports as well as the bunk bed room. House includes a wagon and beach toys so we didn't have to pack our own, and games for family time. The beach is pet friendly and our Luna loved to run and meet other dogs. Also like that the beach isn't crowded. The heated pool is excellent especially in March! Again plenty of room no crowds. The Windmark area has a couple restaurants, a bar with live music, ice cream and great sunsets. Dog park onsite. Excellent shopping and dining in town 5 minutes away. We ate at Sisters Bistro, PSJ Bar & Grill, Brick Wall and KrazyFish, all good options with little/no wait. We climbed the Lighthouse and did nature hikes at the Buffer Preserve, Deal Tract, and State Park on the Peninsula on cloudy days, and the beach and pool on sunny days. Ideal spring break for those looking to relax away from the crowds and chaos.

Family friendly beach trip!

We absolutely loved our stay here. The house is very close to the beach and you get some ocean views as well! We rented a golf cart which helped us get to the beach and the pool with little kids. The community was very beautiful. Our hosts were so kind to us - checking in with us and making sure we had everything we needed! The house had lots of kid friendly items and toys for the beach! We will definitely be back to the WindMark community!

Fantabulastic!

If you are thinking about staying here -think no more and just hit the book now button! You will not be disappointed. This home is the perfect beach getaway! Whether two or ten people there is plenty room for all! The home is lovely and probably the cleanest VRBO I’ve ever stayed in. Also has the most comfortable beds. They have anything you need to make lunch and dinner in the kitchen. Even a few spices and oil in the closet. Or if you want to go out, Port St Joe is an 5 minute drive. I’d recommend Peppers for Mexican and The White Marlin for a great steak, seafood and marvelous sunsets! In the garage they have beach towels and plenty of beach toys, several beach chairs, and a wagon to pull all in. The white sand beach is a 5 minute walk and there is a great path for bike riding. There is a little shopping and dining area in the neighborhood you can walk to and even a doggy park! The home owners responded quickly to my questions and very personable. This is my new favorite vacation spot! I will be back for certain!

Perfect beach house

The house was extremely clean and in great condition. It was perfect for our family. It’s a short walk to the beach. We also visited Mexico beach and Cape San Blas. Both places are a quick drive. The owners were quick to respond if we needed them or had questions. They gave good recommendations to places to try out.

Great Place

We loved staying at this property! The house is in tip top shape, roomy, very nice lay out. It had everything we needed plenty of towels, kitchen was fully stocked, beach accessories. The neighborhood was quiet very accesiable to the beach and very large tropical pool. One thing me and my husband particularly enjoyed was the extensive boardwalk for evening walks. The hosts were very responsive to any questions. We would definitely stay here again!

While the house was nice and the beach was close. It wasn’t much of a beach. Very little sand area and lots of crushed shells making it hard to walk out to the water without shoes.

Relaxing time away

Our family loves this area! We enjoy not being in the middle of touristy chaos yet still having it in driving distance. This area is ideal and we have visited 5 times now. This property was new for us however, and it was great for our families needs. The kids especially loved the option of the pool and the beach so close by. Thank you for a great experience.
