GiGi’s Place Bed and Breakfast - Lighthouse room

Our home is a stately home was built in 1929 and has survived several Galveston hurricanes. It’s located 15 blocks from the beach and 20 blocks to downtown and the cruise terminals.
We offer an exquisite selection of 4 bedrooms for your stay in Galveston. All rooms are located upstairs.
The Lighthouse room is located upstairs and decorated with lighthouses and has a king size canopy bed, private bath, large soaking tub, shower, and washer/dryer. Room is located upstairs.

We provide transportation to the cruise terminal. Tips only.

Highlight of our trip!

Staying at this charming B&B was the best way to start our trip to the Caribbean. The owners, Dan and Gwen, were so friendly and outgoing - even willing to drive us into town to dinner. Gwen and her friend, Peggy, who was staying for the weekend, joined my mother and myself at a board game called Settlers of Catan. We had a marvelous time!! The Lighthouse Room was enchanting. With a four-poster bed and a bathroom straight out of a spa, we never wanted to leave!

We stayed the night before going on a cruise. This is a great stop if you want something different from a hotel. Very relaxing and clean property. Gigi went out of her way to see that we were taken care of before we started onboarding.I highly recommend this place.

GiGi's Place was spacious and comfortable. The hosts are two of the most gracious people you could hope to meet. The home cooked breakfast was wonderful. They even provided us with transportation to the port in the morning along with an entertaining tour of some of Galveston's key sites. Highly recommend staying at GiGi's place if you get the chance.

Very nice

We stayed in the Lighthouse room. The online description was very accurate and the room was very clean. The house is really charming. Check in was extremely efficient and easy. Although there were people in the room across the hall from us we never heard them. The breakfast Gigi made was to die for!! The food was so delicious and she set such a lovely table. Visiting with her while eating such great food was our favorite part. We'd stay here again for sure.

Delightful B&B!

This is a lovely older hole with several upstairs bedrooms. We stayed in The Lighthouse, which had a very comfy king-size bed and a large bath with a large tub for soaking. Downstairs is a small living and eating area. Snacks and drinks were available all the time (Free! no mini-bar charges! yay!). Gigi was there to make sure that we had everything that we needed. She cooked a wonderful breakfast in the morning. Eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits, gravy, jelly, fruit. It was all good and portions were more than generous. We ate family-style with the other guests, which was very nice.This place is a gem!

Great getaway

Weekend Getaway

My husband and I stayed here for the weekend, Gigi was very hospitable and quick to respond to messages. The home was very clean and comfortable. The large tub was especially nice. Short drive from the Seawall, we would stay again!
