We have pictures and screenshots to support everything in this review, please reach out, if you are curious to see (we are frequent travellers) -
- mold and rot in the apartment (unusable washing machine - there is rot inside the machine, clothes come out with a rotten smell)
- badly scratched Teflon pans (negative health impact)
- other people's clothes and footwear in closets
- open condom (yes!), other people's socks, wrappers and other dirt under beds or sofa
- dirty and broken kitchenware
- the master bed is actually a sofa unfolded with a cover over it (very stiff)
- the master bed blanket is for a queen bed (owner refused to provide a right-sized blanket)
Property manager refused to send anyone to check or address any of the issues or provide a refund, we were forced to go through VRBO support and a bank for a refund for an early move out. When told the manager about what VRBO was going to do, she said we were blackmailing her - yet she refused to provide her manager's information for escalation; when told the place was not safe for kids, started saying she didn't allow kids, when the listing said they did. Other reviews are likely from people staying for 1-2 nights.
Inconveniences -
- no elevator
- stair case hand rails are missing vertical bars, unsafe for kids
- single window in the 2nd room into the kitchen, poor ciculation
- party place, windows are facing a promanade with loud music and people into the am; other windows face a construction (noise)
