The Emerald Cottage - Experience the North Georgia Mountains from this adorable renovated 1940’s cottage. Located less than 5 minutes from historic Downtown Toccoa which features outdoor live music every Saturday night, Monthly Cars Shows & Movie Night at the Historic Ritz Theatre [July -August]. Toccoa features Boutiques, Shopping, Wineries, Breweries, Restaurants, Coffee Shops & Galleries. In the fall the leaves change, and the colors are glorious.

A short drive to Toccoa Falls, Tallulah Gorge, Lake Hartwell, Hiking Trails, numerous Waterfalls. 30 miles to Helen for tubing. 40 minutes to Tanger Outlet Malls.

This quaint one level 2-bedroom 1-bath cottage has ample space for gathering (4) in the eat in kitchen - or relaxing as home base for your adventures. This space has been comfortably outfitted with homelike appeal.

Awesome little place.

Awesome little place. Very clean very homey and felt nice to stay there. Kitchen was stocked with everything needed to cook a nice meal and the washer and dryer were very efficient. Place has a nice grille and outside seating area, very well thought out and over all awesome stay.

Perfect for an escape!

Had visited Sautee last fall, wanted to see waterfalls in the spring this year, so planned on Toccoa. Emerald Cottage was a wonderful bnb - private, quiet, very clean with many new upgrades from a basic small home - good job!.

Quiet getaway in a beautifully historic town

We booked this place to celebrate Valentine's Day. We love the GA mountains but have never stayed that far east. We are both history buffs and love nature so Toccoa seemed like a great choice. We were right. We loved the town, the waterfalls and all the history. And we loved the Emerald Cottage. It was very clean and had a very comfy feel to it. It literally felt like we were staying at a friend's house or somewhere we had been many times. It has everything you could ask for including a microwave that doubles as an air fryer.... So cool. Grady is an amazing host. He checked on us to make sure all was well. Check in was super easy and it was very easy to find. For being in a neighborhood, it was extremely quiet and peaceful because the road is tucked away. The location is perfect. You could literally be anywhere within 20 minutes in a car. You could even walk downtown if you like. I would recommend the Emerald Cottage and we would definitely come back again!

Perfect Cottage

We were visiting Toccoa Falls because my son is getting married there in April. It rained every day but one, so we stayed in the house a lot. We played games that were available at the cottage and watched tv. I also found a word search book and did about six of those. It was nice to be able to relax. The host was awesome. He emailed a couple of times to make sure we had what we needed. Very nice!

Bitter cold weekend

We had the pleasure spending a weekend at the Emerald Cottage. Although it was the coldest weekend of the year, we had a great time. The host was amazing and was always prompt to answer our questions. We would highly recommend it.

The Emerald Cottage Was Wonderful!

The Emerald Cottage was an amazing getaway! We enjoyed the quiet serenity of the property. The decor was very comfy and made it feel like home. We will definitely stay here again if we find ourselves in the Toccoa area again.

Cute Home close to Taccoa Falls College

This was the perfect location for us to visit our grandson at Taccoa Falls College. It was only 8 min away. We grilled on the gas grill and enjoyed sitting out on the deck. This home also has a fire pit and hot tub which we did not have time to use. The home is small but it was the perfect size for us.

Emerald Cottage

Very cute, clean and cozy cottage. Was very private and has a beautiful back yard. Went up for a hiking trip and was close to a lot great hikes.

The cottage was very clean and nicely furnished. We ate most of our meals on the deck. We enjoyed all of the history of the community, nice parks and the fact that most every place was "pet friendly.

Weekend in Toccoa

Our family stayed at TEC for the weekend to visit our daughter and watch her play volleyball at TFC. The cottage was super clean, adorably decorated and in a perfect location. Such a quiet street with privacy on the deck, hot tub and fire pit. The host goes above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need and it was a seamless check in process. Loved our stay and would highly recommend to anyone visiting the area.

Perfect Little Cottage

This little cottage had everything we needed. It is in a quite, peaceful neighborhood that is close to places to eat and explore. The backyard is amazing! The host was attentive and provided support both prior and during our trip. We definitely recommend staying here.

Great location and very welcoming host!

It was a last-minute reservation for July 4th, and we were amazed by the quiet location. The host truly puts in significant effort and exceeded our expectations by far. Even though I am a global business traveler and stay in great hotels, I have to admit that I had the best and softest towels at this house! Well equipped and superb comfort. Definitely, a long-term stay is possible!

Cute, quaint and convenient

The title of the review says it all, this compact gem is perfect for a couple or small family who need a place to relax and rest before heading out to explore northern Georgia. The owner was very responsive and pleasure to work with. We will definitely look to stay here next time we are in the area visiting family. Be sure to play Urban Myth (it’s in the house’s game selection).

Wonderful house in Toccoa

Great little home on a wooded lot. Enjoyed the fire put, hammocks and the hot tub. Loved hanging out on the deck and grilling in the evenings. Close to restaurants and grocery store. Would definately stay again.
