Summary:
Enjoy a stylish experience at this centrally-located condo! Only 1.5 miles away from downtown Traverse City, this space is perfect for an up north getaway. Relax with friends or family in the unit or enjoy a short walk or drive to nearby restaurants and bars.

The Space:
This third floor unit has everything that you need to enjoy a comfortable stay in Traverse City. Walk into our master bedroom that has a queen size bed and a walk-in closet to fit all of your belongings (or new purchases). The master bedroom also an ensuite bathroom, stocked with toiletry essentials.

The guest bedroom has a queen bed and a walk-in closet to store your belongings. Don't worry if you decide to extend your stay, this suite comes with their own washer and dryer along with basic laundry supplies.

In the living room you will find additional seating, and a large flat screen tv. Trailside45 is a mile and a half away from downtown, known for their delicious restaurants. If you choose to stay in for a night, the kitchen is stocked with all of the kitchen essentials (utensils, basic cookware, dishes, keurig). A few K-cups will be provided to get your vacation started on the right foot.

**There is a Smart TV in the living room for you to use your personal login for streaming services, but no cable**

Review

The elevators were broke. We were not given notice on that. We have expensive bikes and we’re not able to use elevators and we were told we could not use main level bike closets. No compensation was given to us. The windows were dirty, really need to be cleaned. Decor was bare. The location was good. Bathrooms were stocked well with towels, shampoo and soap.

Great Condo

Stayed on the property to come support a family member having surgery. The property was clean and in a great place for food. Though we did not go, it was also just minutes from the bay. Highly recommended to stay here.

Great Accomodations for Wine/Brewery Tours

This was the perfect place for us to stay on our winery/brewery weekend getaway. It is in a great location, quiet, close to everything, good price, and perfect accomodations for our group (2couples). We each had a private bed and bath (closed the door on 2nd bath making it ensuite). Everything you need is here. It was easy check in and out by phone. We will definitely be coming back!!!

Clean unit. Thats about it. Odd, loud, high traffic location in a poorly built wierdly laid out bldg located in one of the few armpits of northern michigan…..no working coffee maker, no pen and paper, etc…. Like an overpriced motel 6 without the parking convience. Never again. Left a day early it was such a dissapointment

Underfunded and overworked?

This is a new property, and clearly not completed. The elevator was broken, and my sister and I (53 and 70 years old, respectively) walked three flights of stairs each time we entered and left. Our two-bedroom apartment was clean, bright, and well-furnished enough. The Trailside 45 location is good for getting to downtown. But the apartment had quite a few problems: The sofa was broken and unusable, so we spent our evenings lying on one person’s bed or the other’s chatting and reading, rather than being able to use the living room area. Apparently a breaker in the kitchen area had blown, but fortunately one outlet still worked so that we could use the coffee maker. In the bathroom I used, the only way to flush the toilet was by lifting the top of the tank and pulling up, hard, on the flush mechanism. If these problems were fixed, this would be a 100% great place to stay.

Comfortable stay, good price!

Nice accommodations, condo as expected based on listing. Clean and comfortable beds. A few areas in need of some TLC but overall nothing that impacted our stay. Nice walk down to the brewery one night with walking trail right next to apartment was nice!

Everything was great, except the sleeper couch didn't have a matress in it and it made the couch extremely uncomfortable. The location makes it easy to get to pretty much every where in Traverse City.

Wonderful stay!

The apartment was very clean and well-maintained. We had a really easy check-in process and Riley, the manager, was very responsive and helpful! It was a great getaway for 4 of us and we enjoyed the carefree check-out process! We would definitely come back again!

Great location, terrible sofa

The condo was in a good location and had everything needed for a pleasant stay. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen met our needs. The sofa however was broken & terribly uncomfortable. We found blankets and pillows placed under the cushions to make it look "ok" but sitting on it was a pain in the a**, literally. The condo was to serve as a home base for our family, but with the sofa being unusable, seating options were limited to the floor or dining table stools/chairs. This detracted from our enjoyment in the extreme. We contacted management about the sofa and to clear a plugged drain in the bathroom after our first night's stay. They promptly sent out a maintenance guy who cleared the drain and told us the sofa was an owner issue and were aware of it. The sofa in question is the one in the photos of the unit and based on the way we found it, the sofa has been like this for some time.

Nice but…

Location was convenient to town but right on a very busy road so street noise even on the 3rd floor was loud and consistent. The unit had a feeling of cheapness. Very little in the way of artwork or wall decor which caused an echoing in the unit. Well used linen and no kitchen towels. Biggest complaint would be the couch. Seems it is a pullout that had the mattress removed so there was no support for the cushions. Literally sank down into the couch. Very uncomfortable. Would stay at the property again but would have make sure unit is on the parking lot side closer to the south end of the building.

Mixed bag

Property was very clean and is a good setup for two couples. Initial communications with property manager were prompt. Complained upon arrival as patio doors to balcony were taped shut to accommodate a portable air conditioning? unit. Contacted property manager immediately as I did not like being unable to open doors. The property manager responded by email requesting further description of the problem, but would not communicate by phone or text despite my request to do so. Two days later she emailed that the air conditioning unit could be disconnected and that they would address the microwave that did not work. Apartment faces a busy street, which was not ideal but was tolerable. The air conditioning in unit seemed to work fine overall, and portable unit was probably no longer needed. Our friends who stayed with us loved their mattress. In general, the apartment was a fairly good deal. My dissatisfaction with the rental could easily have been addressed if the property manager had bothered to call or text me and address my concerns when I contacted her the first day. A VRBO representative contacted me about my complaint and also tried unsuccessfully to contact the property manager. The VRBO contact followed up with phone calls and emails, and was extremely professional. He genuinely seemed to care about customer satisfaction and that the property managers they work with are also professional and reputable.

TC must stay
