By the way: we have wifi, air conditioning and noise reducing, double-glazed windows in the bedrooms. We also provide a washing machine and dryer. All things that count for a stay to remember.

Torrox Pueblo is an Andalusian village, just as you would imagine it: White houses, narrow winding streets, stairs, terraces, small squares, flowers, old and young meeting in the plaza, small restaurants and bars where you can eat and drink excellently. Casa Paragiau is right in the middle: a typical Andalusian village house. Small, charming, cosy, practical and well located. Three floors, steep stairs. Living and enjoying on the terrace. That is Casa Paragiau.

Casa Paragiau is located on Calle Baja, three minutes from the Plaza. With a few exceptions, Spanish neighbours live all around. People know each other, see each other, hear each other, appreciate each other. Life in Torrox Pueblo is tranquil, but also loud, cheerful and colourful.

Air conditioning
In the living room and bedroom, permanently installed air-conditioning units provide cooling in summer and warmth in winter. There is also a mobile air conditioner in the kitchen.

Laundry
We provide a washing machine and a dryer. Hand and dish towels, room service: Hand towels, dish towels and bath towels are available for use. Long-term tenants do their own laundry.

Cleaning
For the cleaning of the house / the laundry we charge 50 Euro per rent.

Parking
You can drive past Casa Paragiau, stop briefly to unload or load something, but you cannot park directly in front of the house. However, there are two public car parks at a distance of five or max. 10 minutes on foot. These are free of charge.

Beaches
The coast is four kilometres away by car. A disadvantage? Not for locals. For the following reasons: 1. the coast is built up and, depending on the season, overcrowded. It's pleasant to take advantage of what the Costa has to offer, but it's even more pleasant when you can retreat back to the village. 2. Torrox Costa has one beautiful beach, but there are countless other beautiful beaches along the coast. Torrox Pueblo is a good base from which to explore them.

Sports / Special Interest
Torrox Pueblo is situated below the national park "Sierre de Tejada-almijara". The national park is one of the most important and beautiful mountain regions in south-east Andalusia. The region is a paradise for hikers and bikers. On the other hand, the coast with its beaches offers every conceivable possibility for water sports and underwater observation. There are also several golf courses in the region. The tourist offices will be happy to give you information about the possibilities for playing golf.

Transport
Malaga Airport is half an hour's drive away. Several car rental companies offer their services at the airport. However, you can also get around very well without a car, because the bus connections - also in Torrox pueblo - are very well developed.

Climate
Torrox Pueblo advertises with the slogan "el mejor clima de Europe". In fact, the region has a sheltered microclimate. Mild in winter and not too hot in summer. Moreover, there is no annoying wind sweeping through every corner. Torrox Pueblo is indeed an excellent place to spend the winter.
