Home away from home

I just needed to get a Maine fix. I grew up in Maine, and the culture is part of me. The cabin was perfect- welcoming, clean, and quiet. I was allowed to bring my pups, and pupcations are the best. I really appreciate that. Nice little gift of homegrown cakes and a fresh bag of coffee greeted us and further made us feel welcomed. So thank you. Definitely want to return.

Cozy

Everything about the cabin was amazing. I loved that it was pet friendly. The cabin had more than enough space and we felt right at home there. The yard was big enough for our dog to run around and have fun. We will definitely be coming back cause there is so many trails to ride out there for us.

Not what the add said it would be

When we first arrived we noticed that the grass had been mowed and was very dry so the kids had to wear shoes at all times. Due to the dry grass and the fire pit wasn't safe to use we were unable to have a fire. The grill outside was gross and the stove inside had old food on a pan that was mildewing. There was a ton of dog hair and exposed wiring everywhere luckily my 2 year old grandson knows better so he stayed away from them. Luckily we brought toilet paper and paper towels because there was only a half of roll of both and there were 7 of us there for 4 days which we left a day early due to my grandsons allergies to dog hair. I took pictures but unfortunately they don't give an option to post. There weren't any toys for toddlers. We had been planning this trip for a month and the kids were so excited but unfortunately they were pretty upset by the end of the trip.
