Sadly we came for a funeral but this place was perfect. House matched listing as stated. We were close to everything 3-8mins. We ate at Holidays (10mins), Legend Larry’s (2mins) & Falls Cafe (2mins). We could have walked to most of the locations. The house was well stocked so we didn’t need to pick up anything but our meals.
We needed a place to stay during our business trip. It’s a great home for the price and overall it was well maintained. We plan to use this home again during our longer stays.
This place was great. Our 15-yr-old daughter especially loved the game room in the basement with ping pong, air hockey, darts, and an Alexa. The en-suite upstairs got a little warm (there seems to be a heater near the bed), but there are overhead fans and windows that can be opened.
The house was absolutely perfect. Beautifully appointed, spotless and comfortable. The hosts were communicative and lovely! This place felt like home! Highly recommend.

Extremely clean and organized. Great renovations and very comfortable. Safe, quiet location. Reached out to the owner once with a question and they replied in less than 10 minutes. Highly recommend!!
Quiet location, cozy clean home, beds super comfortable. Perfect place for us to come home to after long days of moving family. Kid friendly with plenty of activities and games.
Annual stay in Sheboygan/Sheboygan Falls, Wisconsin
This was our 4th annual fishing trip in Sheboygan (Fish Stik Fishing with Captain Nate Cook) with childhood friends and as always, it was amazing, we tried this home newly listed in Sheboygan Falls for our stay this year as apposed to a VRBO on the lake in Sheboygan, it was close to everything that we needed and wanted, cute little home in a quiet neighborhood, our host (Neil) was wonderful and responded quickly to all of our questions and was very helpful in his knowledge of the area. We will absolutely book this property again and would definitely recommend it to others interested in visiting the area.
Super location! So very comfortable with ample towels and wonderful showers. Warm and comfy. Quality appliances. Comfy beds. The ping pong table entertained the grandkids for hours. Neil was very attentive and accommodating. Super for families!!! Pet friendly, too! Highly recommend this gem.
We try to get up to Sheboygan often, to see our grandsons; often staying in hotels. We came across this jewel on VRBO. It's an older, but very well maintained home, with lots of charm. Located in a quiet neighborhood, with easy access to everything Sheboygan has to offer. Fully equipped, in all regards; we felt at home, immediately. Very well appointed, without being overdecorated. You feel at home. This house will be 1st on our list (if available) for our future visits to Sheboygan.
Property was very nice, updated inside and out. New comfortable beds and furniture. Very clean and in a quiet neighborhood. Close to the highway and restaurants. Excellent location, we had an easy drive to Oshkosh air show, Milwaukee, and Wisconsin Dells. Would definitely stay here again.
We had a nice stay at Neil's property. We were in Sheboygan to fish and the house was great for what we needed.

About the host
Hosted by Neil David Steinpreis
I was born and raised in Sheboygan. I bought this house in 2004. I lived there until 2019 when I took a different job in Professional Racing. Since then I've lived in Dallas and Salt Lake City. I love my house and would never dream of getting rid of it. It has been rented for 3 straight years but I miss staying in it when I go back to visit or race at Road America. I've had a lot of great memories there including making it a furever home for my rescue dogs that I've saved over the years. They've always loved the large fenced in yard and watching the koi fish swim in the pond.
Why they chose this property
My home is in a great neighborhood. It's quiet, safe and very relaxing. It's very close to historic downtown Sheboygan Falls. (about 4 blocks or a 5 minute walk) To me downtown Falls has always reminded me of the town in Gremlins (minus the gremlins). With unique little shops, bars and restaurants. Firehouse pizza is always a great place to eat and in the summer you can walk through the park across the street and watch the falls. Certain week nights have bands playing there too. It is also in the center of Sheboygan Counties golf community. My favorite is Sunset Hills which is only 5 minutes away on Hwy 23. It's a great Par 3 course. More challenging? Try Town & Country, Black Wolf Run or Riverdale. Or you could go pro and try your luck at Whistling Straits. All of the courses are less than 20 minutes from the house. Road America is also less than 20 minutes from the driveway to the Main Gate. You can take the back roads to Sheboygan and drive through Kohler and see their beautiful stables and horses. It also has a bike bath. Sheboygan is less than 10 minutes away straight down Hwy 23. You make 2 turns and you can be on the shores of Lake Michigan. Walk out to the lighthouse or stroll down the river boardwalk. Plenty of different shops and restaurants along the way. (a great ice cream shop and mini golf course are right along the boardwalk)
What makes this property unique
I've always felt that my home is in such a great location for everything in Wisconsin. An hour to Lambeau Field or the Milwaukee airport. It's a great midtrip stop if you're traveling from Chicago to Northern Wisconsin. (2 1/2 hours to the loop from the house). If you like a small town feel and cool little shops you can stay right in Sheboygan Falls. But if you're looking for more to do it's located straight down the road from Hwy 23 which can take you right into the heart of Sheboygan. Go see my friends at 8th Street Ale Haus for great food and beer. Or head west through Plymouth and spend a weekend hiking in the Kettle Moraine State Forest. (My mom got us lost there for a few hours when I was a kid but they've made great improvements to trails) Hike up to Parnell Tower while there. You can always drive past the Kohler stables and take a tour of the Kohler design center, it makes for a great rainy day outing. The possibilities are endless.
