Great Stay: Well Appointed, Idyllic Experience

I just needed a place to stay while I was attending a conference at Pack Forest in Eatonville, and I found this location online and it seemed like a perfect fit for my needs. Arrival and check-in was effortless and flexible. Host graciously upgraded me to a larger cabin called the nest, and I found it to be perfect. Nice kitchen facilities, French press coffee maker and well decorated usable space. Building is a gorgeous timber framed design with a deck, outdoor chiminea / fire pit and seating area next to a huge Douglas Fir that the deck wraps around. Downstairs there is a farm stand with a wide variety of goods - all top notch quality including a number of outsourced gourmet items. My only regret is that my conference took almost all of my time. I could’ve just as easily enjoyed this place four two to three times the amount of time I actually spent there.

I am left-handed and have always joked about not being able to do certain things, like rollerskate, because I am left-footed. Almost everyone is right-footed and I like the fact we are a little different. We celebrate being unique, a little odd, and sometimes while feeding at 6:00 a.m. in the pouring rain, a little crazy. Being ourselves and enjoying the farm, and putting one left foot in front of another on a daily basis is what keeps us going.

Why they chose this property

Left Foot Farm is a 5-acre family farm near Mount Rainier in Washington, currently raising about 100 dairy goats. We are a licensed Grade A Raw Milk Dairy, and proud to share great tasting milk from our girls.

We want to share the farm with you!

Left Foot seeks to welcome visitors whether that is for the day or a few nights. We think it is extremely important to be able to see, touch, smell where your food comes from.

We are grateful to have a healthy, happy herd. Our crew is blessed to enjoy life on the farm with the goats. Thank you for your interest in our farm.
