Summary:
Foxbrush Valley is a modern chalet cabin tucked away in the beautiful WV woods, perfect for a cozy getaway with all the comforts of home!

The highlights:
- Relax in the outdoor hot tub
- Grill & relax on the huge deck
- Gather around the fire pit
- Play outdoors in the spacious front yard
- Enjoy the comfort of a sleek, updated interior
- Bask in the sunshine in front of the massive east-facing windows
- Drive 45 minutes to Berkeley Springs for unique shops, fun restaurants, & art galleries

The Space:
Our cozy chalet cabin offers the warmth of home and the privacy of a mountainside retreat. Foxbrush Valley is the ideal size for couples, small families, or a close group of friends, and it will be the perfect base for your West Virginia vacation.

The cabin includes:
- Outdoor hot tub perfect for relaxing
- Two bedrooms, both with queen-size beds
- Two full bathrooms
- Enormous deck with a grill and patio furniture for the whole gang
- Fenced in area for your furry friends to enjoy
- Renovated kitchen with major appliances (including dishwasher and range hood)
- Central AC and heat to keep you comfortable, regardless of the weather (it gets hot outside in the summer!)
- Well-lit interior, including massive windows in the expansive living room
- Smart TV in the living room, with Roku set up so you can easily sign-in to Netflix, Disney+, or any of your streaming services
- WiFi that’s fast enough to stream movies and hold video calls
- Large front yard and fire pit for hanging out at night

We often take our three little kids and dog to the cabin with us, so we're very family- and dog-friendly. Unfortunately we don't allow cats (we're allergic).

Beyond the cabin itself, you’re less than an hour away from three exciting destinations: Shenandoah National Park, which offers everything from camping to horseback riding; Harpers Ferry, which boasts zip-lining, whitewater rafting, and access to the Appalachian Trail; and Berkeley Springs, which has its own state park, nostalgic movie theater, and cute eateries.

Great get away into the woods!

We loved staying here. The hot tub was super clean, the property was quiet & lovely. The yard for the dog or fire pit was large & totally fenced in. You can tell the owner is very diligent keeping the fencing intact. The house is clean. There is an igloo which is really cool if the weather is bad & you want to be outside. I was concerned about spiders etc because it really is in the woods, but it was not a problem, in fact all I saw was 1 fly & he probably came with us from GA! You will not be disappointed if you are looking for an escape in the woods!

Great Place

The house is located off a partially dirt road in a community deep in the woods. The house itself is very well built and in great condition. The yard and deck are both entirely fenced in, so we were able to let our dog run around. Beds were comfy; nothing to complain about.

Great Stay with the pups.

Stayed at Tonys for a few days with my 2 dogs to break up the long trip South. Tony was a great communicator without intruding in any way. The Chalet was bright and light just as its pictured. Nice private view into the woods from the expansive glass windows. It is certainly a plus to find a place that takes our furbabies and to provide the fenced yard ..well that's the deal maker.

Unsatisfied

The house smelled horrible from cigarette smoke, the pictures on the listing are clearly old. The cholrine in the hot tub was too much made our eyes burn. Overall 3/10. Would not stay here again.

I live in DC with my wife and three young kids. I love camping/hiking, drinking (and sometimes brewing) great beer and wine, exploring new restaurants and shops, and traveling all over.

Why they chose this property

We spent years searching for the perfect getaway, and wanted to be close enough to DC that we could do a day trip. We fell in love with the area – and Foxbrush Valley in particular. We love how cute and cozy our cabin is, and all the fun outdoor activities we can enjoy year-round. :)
