ALL pillows, blankets, sheets, window treatments, towels, grills and furniture are brand new in 2022. The house includes a hot tub, 4 adult bicycles, boogie boards, 2 kayaks, 4 beach chairs, and a paddle board for outdoor fun. For indoor fun, Lewes Daze offers a shuffle board, corn hole, ping pong, and board games. It is your ideal home away from home and we can't wait to host you!

Beautiful Beach House in Lewes DE

My adult siblings gathered to celebrate a milestone birthday and rented this house. It was fabulous! It is large, clean, well-maintained and decorated, comfortable, and close to the beach. The photos reflect the house and the many fun amenities -- ping-pong table, outdoor grill, air-shuffleboard, games, multiple Smart TV's, and beach equipment. Fun time with old friends

This house was beautiful and super clean. The hostess left us some Fisher's popcorn, fudge and drink mix! We are 7 older ladies who have been friends for many years. We all loved our rooms. We walked across the street to walk the beach! THere was also a hot tub and ping pong table, card tables , kayaks and bikes. We did not need to bring towels or linen. Everything was taken care of. Great place!

Fabulous Vacation Home

Loved the property and the location. The house was lovely and the layout ideal for us and the families of our two children--10 in all. It was outfitted to be an amazing vacation house--games, puzzles, ping pong, game table, in-door shuffle board and water sports equipment. There were even 3 refrigerators, so wonderful to house all of our many drinks and food. Although not on the water, our proximity to it made for a quick and easy walk to this less populated and beautiful beach spot. It was also easy to get to restaurants and activities. The owner provided a book which included detailed and accurate recommendations. She couldn't have been more responsive to our questions. We loved every minute of our stay!

Perfect quiet beach house.

Great comfy accommodations in a quiet part of Lewes beach. One block to the uncrowded beach. The bicycles, kayaks and the paddle board were appreciated.

Above & Beyond

Our first family vacation was everything and more than what’s listed! Janice’s house was super Cozy & Clean with every activity available at your finger tips from bikes,kayaks,paddle board, hot tub, fire pit ,ping pong etc.. Six of us cooked one of our meals in the gorgeous spacious kitchen along with two grills outside. Lewes offers so many wonderful restaurants, Historic Cape Hanelopen state park bike trails, and bike rentals here. Lewis Ferry to Cape May. Janice put together a wonderful binder of Things To Do. All of her recommendations were spot on! We Loved Big Oyster! The other Big Perk for us is we got to bring our Best Friends 🐶! Which was perfect for us! It was Doodles on Dewy Beach weekend. What a Blast seeing all kinds of doodles running in the ocean or digging in the sand and just having fun! Our stay was Above & Beyond! You will know once you book this wonderful house! Second Stay at Lewes Daze

This property is perfect for our family's needs. Having bedrooms and living spaces on two floors helps separate and unite the family. The property owners are very responsive and wonderful to communicate with. We really appreciate Janice's kindness and thoughfulness. We plan on stay # 3 next year!

Clean, great house in excellent location

We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful house! It's in a great location and the house was clean, the beds were really comfortable, and it is an excellent layout. It had everything we needed for a spring break getaway with our kids. Will definitely come again!

Incredible stay at Lewes

We stayed at Lewes Daze with a group of 7 adults and 6 children (ages 3 - 7), and everything about the house was fantastic for our beach week. For starters, Janice is an exceptional host- she was responsive from the moment I submitted an inquiry, and went above and beyond to help me get acquainted with the property and with Lewes before we arrived. If you want to be in the middle of a bustling beach town, this may not be the right place for you. But if you're looking to relax in a large, beautiful house with insanely close beach access, and a beach that is calm, secluded, and ideal for young kids, I could not imagine a more perfect spot. The house is very accommodating for large groups, with plenty of space to hang (inside and outside), two beautiful master suites, and an impressive amount of included recreation- the adults especially loved the bikes and the hot tub, and the ping pong table was a hit with all ages. We fell in love with Lewes and can't wait to return!

Beautiful and beautifully appointed

Janice was a wonderful host. The house is really well set up and has so much more in place than other rental houses. It’s a really quiet neighborhood and beach and perfect for families.

Wonderful place for making memories

The house was perfect for our family vacation. Janice was so friendly, kind, and attentive. She thoughtfully had a welcome bag that included fun items for the kids. She was very quick to answer any questions that came up. The house was very clean with nice furniture and amenities! The atmosphere was very relaxing. It was a very quick walk to the beach which was perfect with our young kids. We hope to return next summer!

Ideal home and location

Our family of 8 adults and 5 grandchildren had a great time. Check in was even better as the owner kindly told us when the cleaners finished to allow us to enter a 1/2 hour sooner . The gifts of wine, water and a beautiful bag was totally unexpected . Iwe have never received gifts in all our years -40 plus-renting beach houses. It was such a kind gesture which I will never forget. On the first day we had a minor issue with some insects but they were addressed immediately by the owner. The house is one of the most spacious we have rented . Plenty of area with two floors which was a big plus with 5 small grandchildren . Furniture was new and the provided linens -we kept ours home- were top quality. Having 4 bathrooms was a godsend for 13 people. Kitchen was fully equipped especially with flatware . The island provided substantial counter space and extra seating for our group while the dining room table had ample room for 10. Multiple bathrooms -2 on each floor- were convenient and had good water pressure . We loved the ping pong table. Billiards table would be nice. Just kidding! The refrigerator in the garage was appreciated for extra storage of beverages .Hot tub was nice amenity and two BBQ grills were more than enough. We liked the space between the house and garage which served as a staging area for our many trips - 5 minute walk - to the beach. This was one of the best locations we have ever had for access to the beach. Being on the bay we did not have to worry about waves hitting our grand children who are 3--9 in age. Parking was great allowing for the 4 vehicles we had. At first I was disappointed with the basic cable tv system but it was a blessing as we all interacted and had conversations without the distraction. Traffic on the street was minimal, thus crossing it to the beach was not an issue. Owner was readily available by phone. . Would we stay there another time ? Yes

Fantastic Family Retreat!

Janice's home is everything it is described as...and more. It is attractively decorated with new and tasteful furniture, the beds and linens are high quality and are extremely comfortable, the kitchen is spacious and incredibly outfitted with many small, appliances and ample serveware, dishware, glasses, flatware and many other kitchen supplies. It is very close to the beach, less than a 5 minute walk. We were celebrating our 50th anniversary with our 2 children and grandkids and although we had rainy, cool weather, the house was spacious so we didn't feel like we were on top of each other, not to mention the appeal of the ping pong table to our teen and the hot tub and fire pit fun. Check in was a breeze, the gift bag and wine were so lovely and Janice was very accessible. This rental is a winner..looking forward to a return visit!

Fun at Lewes Daze

We really enjoyed staying at Lewes Daze. Janice left us a nice welcome gift and even offered to let us check in early and stay late. The house is beautiful and convenient to the beach. The hot tub was nice. The beds were comfy. We would definitely stay here again!!

Spring Break Getaway

We had a great time at this new listing in Lewes, Delaware. The house was perfect for our family: 4 adults, 4 children; with space to spread out and the way the bedrooms are configured worked so well. The kitchen had everything you could need for cooking and serving! It was very impressive how well supplied it is. Having multiple living areas was great, too, because the kids could play board games or do crafts and the adults could work or relax separately. We appreciated having use of bikes and beach chairs and the proximity to the beach was a real plus. We’d never vacationed in Lewes but I can tell it will get more crowded in the summer months. A real advantage of this property is its location - near the beach but far from what could become very busy. It’s close to downtown but over a mile from the main road, which is good. The hosts were exceptionally responsive and I can’t say enough about what a pleasure it was to work with them on this getaway. Overall, the best review answers the question “Would you rent this house again?” The answer for all 8 of us is “Yes!!”

We own a furniture store in Bear, DE called Furniture Solution. Our goal is to provide a well decorated, clean home for others to enjoy. We purchased Lewes Daze on New Years Eve 2021. We enjoyed redesigning and updating the property. Bob and I are very impressed with the location, especially the close proximity to the beach, canal views from the back, and 3 blocks away from Roosevelt Inlet's unbeatable fishing.
