This inviting lakefront home is perfect for families. The large, private, fenced in yard keeps toddlers from going to the lake. The porch swing on the deck is a great place to watch awesome sunsets.
The house has spacious rooms and comfortable furniture. The great room has a fireplace and built in bookshelves that are full of books and games. Basic cable TV and wireless internet are available too. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishes, utensils and small appliances and dishwasher. The table in the dining area off the great room seats 8. Sunny breakfasts are delightful on the cozy, knotty pine porch.
The upstairs has 3 bedrooms with views of the lake and a 1/2 bath. One bedroom has 2 antique twins; another has a queen and 2 twins. The third is a small bedroom with 1 twin bed. The downstairs bedroom has a double bed and is near the bathroom.
The Bunkhouse is available as extra sleeping space. It has it’s own powder room and a set of bunk beds, but is not winterized. The bunkhouse 1/2 bath is available May through October.
The stairs to the lake are lit with solar lamps. Our waterfront includes a deck, a 50 ft long L shaped dock, and a swimming beach. You can use the canoe and swim to the raft (note - raft available between Memorial Day and Labor Day). The lake is about 5 ft. deep at the raft. Seneca Lake has excellent fishing and boating, with marina’s nearby to rent all types of boats. Cookout on the gas grill and roast marshmallows on the firepit. There is parking for 4 cars.
If you've been here as a guest of our renter, please mention it to us if you want to rent it yourself.

The most important things that we were looking for were cleanliness and location. Our stay did not disappoint! The cottage was very clean and our location was close to the things we wanted to do, but private enough for us to be able to relax. We were even able to see the northern lights one night! We had a great time and would highly recommend staying here.
We had the best time during our 4-night stay. The location was fantastic, close enough to many things we wanted to do. We took some suggestions from the hosts, and were not disappointed. The house had everything we needed and then some! Very cute, very cozy, makes you feel at home, and some of the best sunset views at night! Would definitely come back and/or recommend to friends/family.
My family and I had a wonderful stay here while in town celebrating a family event. We were completely blown away by the view of the lake as soon as we walked into the house. The owners were wonderful and communicative. We would love to come back again for a relaxing getaway in the future.
Wonderful experience staying at this property. From the views, to the ease of traveling to the surrounding wineries and the wonderful communication with Chris & Chuck leading up to our stay, would highly recommend!
The Owners were communicative and easy to work with, and the property was lovely and mostly well-appointed (e.g. more paper towels, trivets, and larger oven mitts would be the only suggestion). We neglected some items on the checkout requirements but appreciated the feedback from the host/hostess to impart to our adult children who were left in charge of the departure checklist. The home had ample room to host our family and friends and amazing sunset/sunrise views of Seneca Lake! Thank you, Carson Family!
The house had an amazing view of the lake, the kitchen was all furnished as well as bathroom and was very clean. We will definitely stay here again!

Great Lake House for Family Gathering!
Wonderful Lake Cottage with beautiful details, comfortable and fun for everyone, close to various wineries and Geneva. We enjoyed our spring stay on the Lake!
My sisters bridesmaids and I planned a trip to Seneca lake to celebrate my sister before her wedding! We had an amazing time! The homeowners were awesome! The lake was beautiful! The home couldn’t have been more perfect! We got a lot of great pictures of the lake! Thanks so much!
I have rented vacation houses for 25 years and this was one of the best! It was clean and spacious with everything you could need. The owner’s were amazing! Definitely will rent again!
Excellent value, clean, charming, near wineries and restaurants. Very peaceful and great lake access. The owners were in contact and made check in easy. I am planning on visiting this wonderful cottage again!
This is the best house I have stayed at in the finger lakes. The owners are amazing and provide more then they need to for us to enjoy our stay. The view and lake are breath taking and can’t wait to go again!

About the host
Hosted by Chris and Chuck Carson
Chuck spent every summer on Seneca Lake as a child and we have emotional ties to this property. Our family loves to gather here, play in the water, and make memories. We enjoy the peace and beauty of the lake and surrounding vineyards. We like to get to know our renter's who we share our house with.
