Get Away with Family Including Our Dog

Beautiful property in a great location! Everything was exactly as expected. The property was clean and check-in/check-out was super easy. We enjoyed Dollywood, the Smokies Mountain NP, and local restaurants. We would definitely recommend.

Cozy Cabin

We really enjoyed our stay! It felt like we were at home! The road up to the cabin was very steep ,but it felt very private at a dead end road. The surrounding towns had a lot to offer!

Relaxing Retreat

We had an amazing time at Campfires and Cornbread! One of the highlights for me was picking blackberries just outside the cabin with my grandchildren. We brought our Great Dane with us and I was prepared to keep her on a leash while outside but she did not need to be. She enjoyed hanging out on the porch with us. We spent a lot of time at the cabin just relaxing and playing games. We had everything we needed right there. We did not see any bears but there was a deer and 3 turkeys. Thank you for allowing us to stay.

Beautiful Cabin

Loved every minute we stayed there. This wasn't my first time in Tennessee and, it was the best cabin I ever stayed in. Everything was perfect, we even seen a bear our last morning there. Wonderful experience.

Cozy Cabin/terrible road

We absolutely love the cabin! It's beautiful! Everything is clean and cozy. The view is really nice too. We don't have any problem entering in the cabin it was easy. The only issue we had is the road. It was not an easy drive for us especially going up. You need to have a 4x4 drive unfortunately we don't have. You also need a mirror on the one turn you know which one. Overall we had a great time staying at the cabin! Definitely would love to stay at the cabin again but not going back on the road again.

Fall Family Vacation

The location has a beautiful view of the nearby mountains. The drive to the cabin does require a 4x4 vehicle. It’s a windy road. Upon arrival, I had a door code but no instructions on how to get into the cabin. For a first-timer, it could not be obvious. There is a lock on the porch and then the door lock. I would encourage a bit more clarity for future visitors. Upon arrival, the cabin has a cozy vibe. It’s a perfect cabin for a family of 5 people. The heating and ventilation are not working in the first main room near the front door. The cabin is well-equipped with cooking appliances. I would highly recommend additional linens and towels during one’s stay. Especially in time of fall when temperatures are low and cold. The management company provides references for great nearby restaurants. They were proactive in extending our stay. During our visit, we had to leave for medical reasons, and they did not refund us for the days we did not occupy the cabin after all.

Great weekend

Clean and cozy. Just a hair further away that what I thought...Getting there in the dark I knew it was a gravel road, but at one point it was mostly a dirt road little sketch. No lights were on to welcome us a d keypad from door was not obvious at first we were trying code on a lockbox until we figured it out in the dark. Once in everything was great and its one of those places you might even aspire to own yourself one day, a great cabin in the woods. Very private at the end of road.

Fall Break Getaway

We enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It was very clean and nicely decorated. My kids loved the air hockey table. We did have issues the whole time with the door keypad, but we were given a lockbox code upon arrival. It was no problem using a key. We had to fill up the hot tub when we there because it was making a loud noise and extremely low. The main negative is that there is a picture of a gas grill, but they do not provide propane. So, I’m not sure why the advertise the grill. At the time of our stay, it was not stated anywhere on vrbo that you had to bring your own propane. The location is great and easy to get to anywhere you want to go under 30 min. We would stay here again based on the cleanliness and location. The property management company is quick to respond to text.

Had a great time, appreciate that it is off the beaten path. Wears valley is gorgeous with plenty to do for a few days. Well within short driving distance to everything worth seeing! The property itself is isolated, which is even better! Hot tub time is private! Coffee on the porch is without hearing others talking, or looking at you. And, there is a view! Plenty of space in the cabin itself, very comfortable with all the amenties. Even lost to the wife in air hockey! Would be great for a couple couples or even those with kids (even teens I would imagine). Would definitely stay here again.

absolutely beautiful

beautiful cabin with lots of amenities. For the most part it was quiet (other than a little bit of building construction down the road). The views in the mornings were breathtaking. I would recommend this to anyone. Definitely would stay again.

everything as pictured.

only thing that I have to complain about is the front door, the touch screen wouldnt work so we had to use (realtor lock) to get the key out which was a pain.

Beautiful cabin and great location!

Loved this cabin so much! It was in a great location only about 5 minutes from the main road. You can see a view of the mountains with the smoke showing each morning. The hot tub was super nice and new. Everything was very clean. The only suggestion I would make is to add a few more towels and pillow cases. We had extra pillows but didn't see any extra pillow cases and our bathroom only had 4 towels. We had 2 adults and one child in our room so we had to wash the towels more frequently, but that is ok. Also, loved loved loved all of the books available to hang items. We used all of them.

Best Thanksgiving

We can't say enough positive things about this clean, cute, pet friendly cabin high up the mountain.. We had the best vacation and Thanksgiving and will be back next year! The kitchen is fully equipped, the views are amazing, especially at night while enjoying the hot tub on the back deck. Management was easy to deal with and very responsive when we were locked out one evening. Only suggestion is to invest in Adirondack chairs for the fire pit as the metal aren't comfy and heat up fast! I almost don't want to give our little gem in the mountain away but HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Wonderful cabin, impeccably clean, great amenities!

We had a fantastic stay at "Campfires and Cornbread"! Cabin was new, super clean, and had great amenities! We love the location off of Wears Valley community and was only about a 10 minute drive back to the parkway, with the Wears Valley shops and a few breakfast/lunch spots just within minutes! I believe someone named Natasha helped me do our reservation and she was so nice and helpful! This cabin also has some wonderful views and very private. We even spotted a yearling bear roaming the woods one morning! We frequent the PF area a lot being only a short distance away, so we will definitely use Red Door Getaways again! Thanks guys!

Wonderful

The cabin is beautiful. All appliances, furniture, electronic devices , utensils , linens , even the light bulbs are PERFECT! It's so clean! The shower is so good I could hardly get out. It's on a cul-de-sac making it easy to access, with a circular drive. The views are nice, and the deck is superb. Did I mention the hot tub ?? Clean and barely used! Stay at this cabin! I will warn you though, treat it well and keep it pristine, because I'll be back !!! 🙂

The perfect temporary home!

Campfires and cornbread was the perfect cabin to temporarily call home for our family of four and our dog! This was a newly built cabin that was very clean and stacked with all the necessities and more. The location gave the ultimate view of the smokies sunrise! It was secluded enough to give our family the perfect amount of privacy. It was our family's first time staying in wears valley (have stayed prior in both gatlinburg and pigeon forge) and will definitely stay in wears valley our future vacations. There was no need to go and search for a bear, mama and her cubs payed morning visits and was able to watch them from our hot tub!

Great Vacation

We enjoyed our stay at the Campfires and Cornbread cabin. It was a nice ride to and from the cabin to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. The cabin had plenty of room for my family and was very relaxing. I would recommend using Red Door Getaways. They made the whole experience smooth and easy from reservations to checkout.
