THE SPACE:
This breathtaking hillside home features a magnificent private backyard, open interior floorplan, upgraded design finishes, ultra-fast Wi-Fi, and private garage access. Stylish, upscale, and cozy furnishings are found throughout with a kitchen boasting high-end custom cabinets, quartz countertops, and stainless-steel appliances. The spacious dining area and living room with gas fireplace leads to an indoor game room with a ping pong table and other fun family games.
The main bedroom has a luxury king-size bed, Smart TV, and a private ensuite bath with a huge walk-in shower. This home has 4 bedrooms total, the second with a queen-size bed, and 2 bunkrooms, each with luxuriously soft linens. The second full bath is a 4-piece with a tub that is ideal for bathing little ones after a day in the sun.
Outdoor living is pure perfection in a completely private backyard styled with custom lighting and landscaping overlooking the sparkling HEATED pool. Melt your cares away in the jacuzzi, sip wine by the fire pit, catch some rays on the chaise lounge, and serve a dinner hot off the grill alfresco on the patio dining table.

GUEST ACCESS:
The entire house including the spacious two-car garage, kitchen, living room, bedrooms, bathrooms, spa + pool, backyard, and washer/dryer is exclusively available to guests. You will have complete privacy throughout the property. The hosts are available 24/7 to assist with any special needs.
OTHER THINGS TO NOTE:
-We follow enhanced cleaning protocols between stays, focusing on high-touched surfaces.
-The home has central HVAC to maintain a comfortable temperature year-round.
-Please note that this is a family-friendly neighborhood, so quiet hours must be observed, especially at night.
-The pool can be heated for an extra fee, based on fluctuating SDGE gas prices. Please inquire about pricing prior to booking. The jacuzzi heating is always free.
-A pet fee of $100 per pet applies for up to two small dogs. Cats are only permitted with pre-approval from host.
-There is an extra guest fee of $50 per night per guest which applies after 10 guests.
-Arrangements for early check-in/late check-out must be made at least 24 hours in advance and are subject to availability. We need to coordinate with our cleaners' schedule to accommodate these requests.

Nestled in the rolling hills of San Diego County, La Mesa is a picturesque city with a quaint downtown, tree-lined streets, and lots of character. You’ll be surrounded by outdoor recreation opportunities, renowned cultural attractions, fun entertainment options, and easy access to retail and commercial areas. Plus, the area is famous for its near perfect climate, walkable neighborhoods, family-friendly experiences, and endless supply of everything needed to create a perfect vacation.
La Mesa is known as the Jewel of the Hills and the area’s abundant hiking and urban trails help tell the story. Just 5 minutes away is Mission Trails Regional Park home to Cowles Mountain and beautiful Lake Murray. The park’s rugged hills, valleys and open areas encompass more than 8,000 acres of both natural and developed recreational area with 60 miles of trails, and the lake offers swimming and boat rentals for fishing. Mount Helix, 10-minutes by car, is another great hiking spot that offers panoramic views and on clear days you can see all the way to Mexico from its summit!
Be sure to also check out La Mesa’s "Secret Stairs", a system of public stairways in the Mt. Nebo / Windsor Hills area that are ideal for a good cardio burn when navigating the challenging steep ascents. Retail shopping options abound at nearby Grossmont Center (1.6 miles) and Parkway Plaza Mall (6 miles).
Hit the Pacific Beaches in about 20 minutes with several great options to choose from including Ocean Beach, Pacific Beach, La Jolla Shores Beach, and Coronado Beach. For breathtaking views and the most amazing sunsets that you will ever see, visit Sunset Cliffs Natural Park – definitely an Insta-worthy spot you don’t want to miss.

Getting around:
La Mesa is easily accessible via I-8 and the 125 Freeway, and the overall area is best explored with a personal vehicle. There is private parking for 2 cars in the garage and another 2 cars in the driveway. Street parking is available for additional vehicles but is extremely limited. The house is perfectly located at the top of a hill and within walking distance to the shops and restaurants of Historic La Mesa Village.
