Weekend with friends

I highly recommend this beautiful property for a nice getaway in the woods of Hochetown. We had a lovely couples weekend with friends and really enjoyed the many areas of the home. From the large kitchen and dining area to the detached game room and outdoor fire pit, there is so much room to hang out. The bedrooms and bathrooms were comfortable and clean. Our host, Jonathan, was very helpful and made sure that we had everything we needed. This is a perfect place for family or friends to gather and have fun.

Winter Getaway

You will not be disappointed from the moment you arrive, there is plenty to do without leaving the cabin, fishing, pool, soaking in the hot tub, watching deer or in our case, watching the Super Bowl on the outdoor bar TV!

Unlimited Fun for All!

This cabin has everything you need for a family vacation or a get away with friends. We literally didn’t get to experienced everything in the 2 days we were there and wish we had one more day! Jonathan was a great host and his communication thru the whole process was excellent! He checked in to make sure everything was going well and if there were any problems. We didn’t have any, but if we did I feel comfortable that they would have been taken care of promptly. We will definitely be back again!

Perfect for a large family

Wonderful stay

We had a great stay over Memorial Day weekend. The house was spacious and well maintained and the property has a lot to explore. Beds are comfortable and kitchen was well stocked. The property is close to everything and owners are incredibly responsive to questions and issues. Would definitely go back!

Absolutely best cabin for family

This cabin has become an absolute must for our annual family vacations. If it is booked when we want to stay we change our trip so we can stay here. Very clean, comfortable, and lots of things for the entire family to do. Located on a huge quiet lot. Hosts are very friendly and really care about your experience during the stay.

Great communication and spacious, comfortable cabin

Communication was very good with this property owner. We had some last minute changes that they quickly accommodated and helped with issues encountered during our stay. The cabin was larger than even the pictures led me to believe and our twelve people had plenty of space to be comfortable. We stayed in April and much of the surrounding attractions were closed at that time, but due to the amenities available, we were able to have a great time without needing to leave the cabin too often.

Perfect vacation house

This was the perfect house for our family getaway! The house was clean & had plenty of bedrooms & space for all of us. The house was equipped with towels, kitchen utensils & everything we needed. The amenities were amazing!!!!! The hot tub was clean. The pool table, game room & outdoor bar/tv area made for super fun evenings for all the kids & adults! Our kids caught their first fish in the pond! That made the trip even more amazing! The owner was great & quick to respond. We will definitely be booking this place again in the future!

Amazing Property and Owners

We booked our stay here to hold our wedding ceremony on site due to the amazing photos which in person was just as amazing!!! We were able to fit all our family plus a few friends near the pond to hold the ceremony. The house was beautiful and open to entertain with everyone and the property was just stunning. Neighbors were friendly and honestly it felt like home! The owner Jonathan was phenomenal!!!! He knew this was for our special day and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed for our special day and even checked in several times to congratulate us as well as to see if he could do anything extra for us. I truly cannot brag enough about this property or the owners! We WILL be back!

Summer Family Fun

I can't stress enough how enjoyable this home is for a family visit to the Hochatown/Broken Bow Lake, Oklahoma area! The property owners were very responsive to our needs and questions. The home is located minutes away from the lake and river, and we enjoyed driving through the safari, kayaking on the river and shopping/eating in town. We spent most of our time enjoying this home. The pool table in the game room was so fun for kids and adults to get away from the heat and enjoy time together. We absolutely loved the open bar area with the TV that allowed us to listen to music while we were in the hot tub, BBQ-ing or chilling by the campfire. The pond was a HIT for fishing, and we fished every day for a week (catch and release)! There is a creek behind the home that had some water in it that made exploring wildlife fun! We saw deer and an armadillo. The layout of the home is perfect for a large family like ours (5). With two master bedrooms downstairs, it's very comfortable for two families to share. The upstairs rooms had plenty of room for kids to share rooms, play video games or foosball. We were very comfortable, and it was the best place to get away as a family for a week. I can see hosting a large party or gathering at this home with all the fun amenities. There is plenty of room to explore, play frisbee golf, throw a football and enjoy the great outdoors! I highly recommend this beautiful property.

This is our family of 4 (#5 coming in late '22) that loves the cabin as much as you will! We're from California, but escaping the madness in 2023 and relocating to Wilmington, North Carolina. We fell in love with Broken Bow since there's nothing quite like this where we live (near the beach).

Why they chose this property

In total, my wife and I have 8 siblings between us, so we're always thinking about BIG comfy spots to cater to larger groups/families. We recently bought the property in Feb '22 and immediately fell in love with this place. Right after we got the keys, we drove 3,000 miles (round trip) with our twin 2 year olds and spent a few weeks out there getting to know the property/area and spent time sprucing it up. We can't wait to come back if we can find a week we aren't booked!
