Great for families

The open spaces were fantastic. Game night, movie night, ping pong and steam room were all big hits with our family. The kitchen was very well equipped. Especially for a large group. Close proximity to the summer activities at Big Mountain plus 6 min drive to town of Whitefish.

Whitefish skiing

Great house!! We had multiple families and we all had plenty room. The views on the back porch of the mountain are beautiful. The 2 hot tubs on both levels were very convenient. It is a true ski in/ski out the back door or in the cul-de-sac. The kitchen and bathrooms were fully stocked. The town is quaint and not a lot of traffic. We will be back:)

Beautiful house, great location

Our extended family -- total of 6 adults and 8 kids - had a fantastic week staying at the Yeti. The house is very spacious and beautiful as shown in the pictures. Location for ski in/out was ideal, as it was easy to pop in for lunch or to take a break from the chill. Cody and Britton (property managers) were great. We are definitely interested in renting again!

2020 end of ski season at the Yeti at Whitefish Mountain

Very nice property, especially for a group our size (7 adults, 3 kids, 4 families). Only negative is the property, while very new, is not yet completed entirely. Notwithstanding, it was very clean and well equipped for whatever activities desired.

Without question this home is the most stunning in Whitefish. In fact, we enjoyed our first stay at this lovely property so much we came back for another vacation here. Beautiful setting, epitome of luxury home with meticulous attention to detail and every amenity one could want, responsive, attentive and kind management team - Lisa was amazing and quick to respond to our every need- so it’s quite easy to gush about this home. We look forward to returning for another amazing vacation.

Gorgeous home

We stayed for a spring break ski trip and were totally impressed with the home, the amenities and the location to the Home Again run. True ski in and ski out. The house had all the amenities you need or even think you might need. The pantry is a perfect example: air fryer, slow cooker, popcorn popper, s’mores cooker, toaster, all the pantry staples you could imagine, spices galore, and the freezer is stocked with frozen food items others have left that are super convenient to find (e.g. pizza for teenagers). And the game room downstairs was the best element to have in a vacation home that you didn’t know you even needed - so much fun! We will definitely be back. Absolutely worth the price!!!

Summer vacay

Great rental! The perfect set up. We had 10 people and there was more than enough room. The kitchen is stocked better than any rental I’ve stayed in. Everything you need to feed large groups of people. Spent so much time on the deck. Would be great to location in the winter with the ability to watch skiers come down the mountain. Only downside is that there are no closets. We made due using the small rack in the bedrooms and drawers in side tables and bathrooms. Would not stop me from renting again though. Area downstairs for ski prep is huge and would use that to store ski clothes and equipment.

Beautiful home with equally great appointments

Stayed in December for a guys ski trip. Accomodations we're great. Very comfortable and spacious home. Likes Huge kitchen and eating area Large ski dressing/ storage area Comfortable beds Individual Bose Bluetooth speakers to carry around The view of the mountain Two hot tubs Dislikes - nitpicky Driveway heaters we're not working completely which made backing out after a fresh snow difficult. Fireplace should be converted to gas logs as the small firebox allows smoke to get in the house. Ski in/ski out is difficult at best. Need to have paths cut from house to Home Again trail. Upper hot tub appeared to have a leak. All in all we would rent again.

Family vacation

Wow! We loved this home and Whitefish! The managers were very responsive and immediately addressed any questions etc! They were there to greet us when we arrived and to go over a few things and then left so we could begin our vacation. We discovered the coffee pot would not brew shortly after arrival and us unloading our belongings. They immediately responded and had another coffee pot to the home within half an hour! Everything was clean and well stocked! The views are amazing which made it hard to leave! The only negatives inside the house were the couch was hard for my parents to get off of as they are older and you somewhat sink into it and the chairs that are in the living room. They have foot rests that are taller than the chair which make relaxing in them a little uncomfortable. The location of the home is awesome but I do not consider it a ski-in ski-out. We had to walk up the driveway and across the cul-de-sac to enter the trail and return the same way. The walk is much easier since the driveway is heated and it's not a terrible walk by any means. If you are fit enough to ski you can definitely make the walk with ease but ski-in and out for us is less walking in ski gear! We would definitely stay in the home again as the pros far outweigh the few cons to this home! A huge thank you to the owners and managers for offering such an amazing home!

Family getaway

Our family enjoyed staying at the Yeti and the ease of ski in-ski out played a large part. All but the bunk room were en suite which was another plus. We had ample room to spread out and there was plenty of seating if we choose to all be in the upstairs or down stairs family rooms together. We did have some hiccups however...The roof had been leaking due to an ice damn created by frozen gutters, because of this there was a 3-4 inch flooring heave on the far side of the main room (covered by a bench) resulting in uneven flooring which led into one of the bedrooms. We had water leaking by the window in that bedroom and down another wall (a few wet clothes which were easy to dry). The host was very responsive and the leak problem was corrected the next day. We had two unannounced visits for hot tub maintenance two days apart...nice guy but just strange to not have been told to expect this. Because our flights were delayed our arrival was later than planned and we did not get a walk through with the host, important how-tos and what to expect were missed. I spent a fair amount of time cleaning up before we left and would have preferred a 'do this don't do that' list. Trashcans were across the driveway and difficult to open due to the amount of snow on top. One final frustration for me was receiving billing information in both Canadian and American dollar amounts at different times. Live and learn. All that said...Yes! We would stay here again.

Husband’s 80th birthday

We were a party of 11 - 6 adults and 5 teenage grandchildren. We had more than a couple of hiccups on arrival. The biggest that the driveway was under construction with heating coils zigzagging everywhere making navigating the walk from an upper parking area to the house difficult - we were told to not roll luggage or step on the coils - Paul was there when we arrived and did help with luggage, but groceries and departure remained our chores as did just daily in and out. We booked this property almost a year in advance and were not notified about the driveway. Owners did make a compensation so give credit where due. Upstairs a/c was not operational the first night there. Technician said it was frozen and couldn’t be turned on until the second day - made sleeping in the 2 main floor masters less than pleasant. Also had issues with trash not having been emptied from outside containers. All that said, Paul responded to each issue promptly. Interior of house is lovely - plenty of kitchen supplies, cookware and dishes. Two beautiful TREK decks/balconies with hot tubs which worked perfectly. Lower floor balcony had NO furniture and upper had a few plastic and wooden chairs - big miss for us visiting during the summer - dining outdoors is a favorite. Railing on upper balcony is lovely. We enjoyed our stay, but had never experienced so many issues renting a VRBO home of which we have rented many - did I mention the bobcat that overturned behind the house while grading the ski path. Give the house a try. When all is done, I have little doubt it will be wonderful.

Gorgeous House

The interior of this house is amazing! Our group of 9 had plenty of room to spread out and the kitchen was well equipped. We frequently stay at luxurious VRBO’s and the interior of this house was on par with the best! The kids enjoyed the game room downstairs and all 9 of us gathered in the upstairs living room each night to share stories of the day. This property is still fairly new, so the driveway is not yet completed and the decks only have a handful of plastic chairs on each level. Overall, great property!

Annual Ski Trip

We were all very impressed with the views of the mountain and the ease of the ski-in, ski-out. The house is simply amazing, the kitchen is well stocked with everything you need to make great meals, and there was something for everyone to stay entertained. If skiing Whitefish again, we would absolutely want to stay at the Yeti every time.

The Yeti is a great house.

Great house, well equipped and beautiful. The only downside was it wasn’t a true ski in ski out, as the run to ski home was closed. However, we could call the Whitefish shuttle and they took us home every day. Would have been nice to be able to ski in for lunch. Otherwise it’s exactly as advertised.

The Yeti

The Yeti was just as advertised, huge home with awesome amenities, including 2 hot tubs a steam room and a game room to include pool, a gaming table and lots of TVs if you cared to spend your time watching TV. It is a very new home and had enough room for our party of 13 (8 adults and 5 children).
