For us, The Sandy Turtle idea originated from our personal love and appreciation for our beaches and complex water system Additionally, we support the Save theTurtle Foundation. When you enter the Sandy Turtle, your eyes will focus on a warm, fun and coastal atmosphere. Our townhome is newly furnished and nicely appointed. You can enjoy a cup of coffee on the front porch and become one with the neighborhood or enjoy the shaded backyard decorated with lovely Live Oaks adorned with Spanish Moss in all of its glory! Enjoy quaint shops, restaurants and Sands Beach all within walking distance. Experience Port Royal: Cool, Coastal and Far from Ordinary. It truly is!

Marine Graduation

Not only was the house clean ,cozy and well stocked (even with all the little things one tends to forget unless you really need them), it was the perfect location for our trip. It was very nicely decorated and it didn’t t hurt that we absolutely love turtles. So many thoughtful touches! It is obvious that this home owner cares and I would absolutely highly recommend👍👍. I have to thank them also for the recommendation of the little bakery only a few minute walk from the house. Their almond crescents were to die for!

Felt like home

The property was well kept and all needed amenities were provided. The owner was very accommodating and thoughtful. Small touches definitely made us feel welcomed. Will definitely stay again!

Living in the Low Country provides so many opportunities to enjoy the outdoor life. Boating, fishing, wonderful beaches, local restaurants. The list goes on and on. My husband and I truly love this area. I grew up on a beach and he grew up in the mountains. Terry's first visit to Port Royal was when he served in the Marine's. We both new we wanted to live near the water so Beaufort/Port Royal was a happy middle of the road for us. I didn't want snow and he didn't want it hot like Ft. Myers....this is the perfect place that we have called home for 8 years now. We simply love the Low Country and all of it's beauty and what it offers.

We invite you to stay with us. The Sandy Turtle is decorated and fully furnished exactly in the taste that we would want if we were looking for a home away from home. We have tried to offer the little touches as well as expectations. You will be welcomed with a wonderful basket full of treats and wine has a Thank you for staying with us. We live 10 minutes away so any emergency or non emergency can be handled immediately. Extra linens, cozy blankets and pillows are in each closet. Each bedroom has a Roku TV, The TV in the living area is local cable. Bring your toothbrush and you personal items and we have the rest for you. Including and ice cream maker! How fun....Oh yeah lots of board games and family fun is located in the TV cabinet.
