About this property

Spacious lakefront home with one of the best fishing docks on all of Lake Norman

Enjoy time with your family and friends in this large lake house. It is located on a private cove, just off the main channel. History has this property named by all the local fisherman because of the location and amount of fish that have been caught around this dock. Walk around on stone and brick pathways while enjoying the surroundings. Take a seat at the one of a kind fire pit. This property allows you to connect with nature and maybe even have a sighting of albino squirrels. Walk over to the tiki hut to grab a fishing pole or beverage, then off to the boat dock for a sunset. This newer boat dock has everything you need to enjoy your time at the Blue Pelican. Look and see main channel views of Lake Norman, but make sure to get ready for the sunset. The landscape is unbelievable with several varieties of azaleas, Japanese maples and rhododendrons. The 6000 sq ft. house has room for everyone to spread out and enjoy their vacation. You have your own small private beach with steps into the lake making it easy to paddle board or swimming. The home has views of the lake in every room.

Homey but pricey

No icemakers, we bought and left ice trays. Ovens & air fryer were filthy. Charcoal grill filthy and tiny. Needs more bathroom showers and bedroom closets. Only one remote for both upstairs and downstairs TVs. Homey, “lived in” lots of personal belongings left by owners. Bonus toy room was fantastic. Spacious living room and back deck. Very nice pier and dock. With all that being said, we did enjoy our stay. However, next time we’ll rent elsewhere as it is a pricey place to stay.
