Hey, Get A Room is a studio apartment that is privately located on the ground level of a home surrounded by beautiful live oak trees. You'll have your own private deck to relax after a day at the beach or site sightseeing'. It's only a five minute bike ride to the beach or sound for those beautiful sunsets and many awesome restaurants to enjoy.
There's a public beach access with parking and a bath house 2 minutes away by car.

Cozy nights on the deck with a fire in your chiminea.

You have your own keyless entry for easy check in, Queen bed, deck, outdoor dining area, outdoor shower, 2 beach cruisers, beach chairs, back yard with a hammock. A kitchenette with a Kuerig, Toaster oven, and small fridge.

We enjoyed everything Get A Room had to offer. The studio apartment had everything we needed for our getaway, easy access to the beach and restaurants and right in the middle of the OBX to get out and explore.

EXCEPTIONAL HOST & PROPERTY
Every once in a while you find a hostess that is exceptional. Holli is exactly that – exceptional! She has thought of everything at “Hey, Get a Room”. We didn’t have to run out and buy one thing. The studio was very clean, well-organized, comfortable and cozy. When we arrived I had trouble with the door (my fault) and Holli was right there to help. Once inside we found the studio to be fully- stocked with lots of amenities: • A Keurig machine to make coffee each morning with K-cups provided! • A Sound Machine • Lovely crystal, fluffy towels, kitchen utensils of every kind. Some of the other highlights: • Great location – close to many restaurants, shops and the beach! • Clear, quick and kind communication by Holli • Quiet Neighborhood & friendly neighbors • Lots of privacy The biggest surprise was The Sound Machine. What a nice touch. I don’t use one at home, but I loved having it lull us to sleep each night; and, the bed was very comfortable. One of the highlights of our stay was relaxing with a cocktail on the deck beside a lovely fire in the chimnea. The deck is also a great place to bird watch! Thanks so much Holli and Brian for a wonderful week on OBX!!!! We hope to come back for another stay. Maria Sabia

Perfect couple’s getaway!
This property was perfect for our long weekend! It was clean and had everything we needed! Great size for the 2 of us. While we didn’t use the bikes or outdoor shower it’s a great option. We loved that the beach was a 3 minute drive! Made the sunrise more doable! Would definitely stay and recommend!

Very convenient to restaurant’s (Hurricane Mo’s, Black Stallion, Barefoot Bernies) and the beach, but just far enough away to avoid crowds and traffic. We just showed up, everything we needed at the studio apt and for the beach was there for us to use.

This rental is small, but mighty! Great location about the area of Croatan Hwy and Kitty Hawk Rd; easily walkable. Quiet residential neighborhood. Dedicated off street parking with easy access. The unit itself is a modest-sized downstairs studio (and includes a covered outdoor space), cleverly and comfortably furnished with right-sized furniture leaving more than ample light, air and walking around area -- no problem with managing space for luggage, shopping, etc. The owner has a background in, among other things, hospitality, and it shows in the appointments. Every single thing I could think of or want ( more) was there, and of nice quality, e.g., the towels were luxurious and the knives were sharp (I've never had sharp knives in any VRBO rental before!). The owner didn't overlook a single detail in making this rental ultra convenient and comfortable for guests. The rental was just great, and the owner was even better; the epitome of professional, timely and responsive. My flights were running late and I ended up arriving at the property quite late at night, but the owner was expecting me and immediately welcomed me with helpful hints re: the HVAC controls, etc. Don't let the size of this rental fool you! If you are looking for accommodations about this area for 1 of 2 people, I couldn't recommend this rental more highly.

I stayed at the Get a Room studio a few weeks ago. Came back AGAIN for a quick reset with a friend! I will be sure to check the availability at this property in the future when in the area. It's so close to the beginning of the OBX for me. I take day trips to multiple southern beaches and appreciate the solace of returning to a quiet space to further unwind & relax. The location is so ideal and works well for me! 🙏

Perfect Home Away From Home
What a fabulous space! Quiet and clean. Specifically appreciated the cicadas at night and the Keurig in morning 🌞. The outdoor shower was awesome! I'm a restless sleeper and did take advantage of the sound machine. Ms. Holli has a great set up indoors and out! I was travelling with my extended family and was looking for a quiet retreat after the busy days on the beach....WIN! Ms. Holli's special touches and amenities provided made it that more of a vacation. Easy to get to, perfect location. Far enough from the main drag to get some peace and quiet. Will definitely bookmark for future visits to the OBX!

The space was super adorable and stocked with so many little amenities like plenty of dishes, towels, linens, and extra blankets. Holli was very communicative and kind; we really appreciated her recommendations on where to get good food and drinks. There isn’t a sink in the bathroom, but it didn’t bother me at all considering it was just two steps away in the kitchenette. As a stickler for cleanliness, I felt that the space was very clean upon entry as well. I would definitely recommend!

Look no further for a place to stay for couples in the OBX. Immaculate interior and exterior with no details forgotten. We loved taking the bikes for a ride around the peaceful neighborhood and swinging outside on the private porch. It truly felt like we were in our own private oasis. We arrived late Friday night & Holli kindly granted us a late Sunday checkout in return. We will definitely be back!! Thank you for everything!

Exceeded my expectations!
This was my first ever VRBO rental and it gave the best first impression!! Staying at someone’s private property can be a bit nerve wracking but this was SO EASY. The pictures look exactly like they do on the app or website, and Holli stocks lots of personal items that you may need with your stay. It felt very cozy and homey! I would pay a little extra and have this place than a hotel/motel anytime! This place is well worth your money and time! :)
