This house is close to town and the redwoods are indeed growing right through the deck and all around the house and neighborhood; you are in the woods. The house is a bit quirky but everything you need is included and we would recommend.
This was a perfect base of operations for exploring the area around Guerneville and the Sonoma Coast (15 minutes to Armstrong Redwoods) but we were constantly tempted to just hang out.
Very comfortable and spacious, with everything needed to feel at home.details, l

The NorCal Hideaway treehouse was a breathtaking relaxation home. We dealt right at home the minute we arrived. The location is a little off the path but was worth the drive once we arrived. I would definitely rent this property again🙃
Would have been a vacation even if I never left the house
This home was such a relaxing change of pace. The layout of the house gives a group plenty of space to have time on their own or come together. The two decks are so amazing. The kitchen is well stocked. It had 4 bedrooms one room has a queen bed plus a bunk bed so while there is plenty of space. I would stay here again.
This cabin very comfortably slept the 7 of us with room to spare. The decks are gorgeous and you feel eye-level with the trees. Kitchen is well stocked & extra touches around the house make it even more cozy. There’s a record player so bring your vinyls! Thanks so much. We’ll be back!
Jordan's home was more than perfect for our group trip — this is a super cute treehouse surrounded by redwoods that was spacious and well-appointed for a large group. Would definitely stay again.
Beds were comfortable and we loved the split levels. We had someone staying in every bed in the house and had no complaints. The kitchen is well-stocked and we were able to grill and cook throughout the trip with no problems. The best part of the house is the huge patio that wraps around the whole place, with gorgeous redwoods surrounding (and even poking up through the deck). It was great to have dinner on the patio, relax in the hammock, and have coffee on the deck in the morning.
There was enough parking for 4 cars if you parallel, and the short drive from town was no issue — Old Monte Rio Rd up to the house is pretty winding and can be narrow, but just drive slow and you'll be fine.
Big thanks to Jordan for being responsive and accommodating before and during our trip and making everything easy. Don't hesitate to book this house!
I'm a pilot for the FAA. I travel extremely frequently. Technically I live in Sacramento CA but I’ve lived on both coasts and I grew up in the Chicago Area.
Traveling and aviation are my passions. I enjoy visiting and exploring different countries and cultures. But while back in the states you could find me snow skiing at Lake Tahoe or road tripping in my 1990 VW Vanagon Westfalia. That’s my personal form of Glamping and it leads to all kinds of incredible hikes throughout the Rocky Mountain states and the Sierra Nevada’s.
Why they chose this property
A childhood friend and I bought this property last year as a place to take our friends and family. This house is not part of some property conglomerate but is our personal vacation home. It's maintained by us directly. We take a lot of pride in its unique character and address any problems which may come along immediately. It's always been a dream of ours to have a home in Northern California. This house is not only close to the beautiful California coastline but also the vast redwood forests which stretch north to the Oregon boarder. The vineyards nearby are ideal for R & R and the Russian River is great for outdoor activities. We consider it a privilege and our pleasure to give guests and their families a beautiful place to go.
