1 Bedroom Condo with Pool & Hot Tub Just Steps From The Ocean
Welcome to your little slice of the paradise that is Kauai!
This 1 bedroom condo is located in Plantation Hale Suites just steps from the ocean and in the same complex as the recently upgraded open air Coconut Marketplace with all its unique stores, restaurants and twice a week Farmer’s Market. They also host regular hula shows, magicians and monthly movie nights so there’s something for everyone!
The activities nearby are too many to list but a few of our favorites are the
Ke Ala Hele Makalae Path - a beautiful shoreline bike & walking path approx. 5 miles long starting a few hundred yards from your front door. Whether it’s a morning walk to catch the sunrise or an afternoon bike ride to the beach with a few stops for a bite or a drink along the way, this will be one of the highlights of your trip. Kealia beach is arguably one of the nicest beaches on the island and is less than 5 miles away. Stunningly blue water, its never too busy or windy and has washrooms and showers as well. Sleeping Giant Mountain is only a few minutes away by car and has several hiking paths to choose from that will lead you to breathtaking views. Golfers can head to the Wailua Golf Club for a round on what was voted one of the best value courses in all of Hawaii!
Our central location on the island is also extremely convenient as you’ll likely want to venture north to check out the lighthouse at Kilauea and beaches at shops at Hanalei as well as the gems to the south including Poipu Beach, the artsy old-school main street of Hanapepe and the Waimea Canyon. You’re never too far from home so any location on the island is easy to plan a day trip around.
The condo is a main floor unit and has access to multiple pools, hot tubs, shared BBQs and outdoor picnic areas. Inside, you’ll find everything you need to make yourself at home including a full kitchen, living room with a queen size pull out bed, 1 bedroom with 2 top of the line queen memory foam mattresses and a bathroom. There’s a lanai (deck) off the front to sit and enjoy your morning coffee or afternoon drink on and pay-per-use washer and dryer in the building to do your laundry in case you want to pack lighter :). Also included is wi-fi, streaming TV services as well as basic cable television in both the living room and bedroom.

Kela's Glass Gallery and Kamokila Hawaiian Village are cultural highlights, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Nawiliwili Harbor and Kamalani Playground. Smith's Tropical Paradise and Lydgate Beach are also worth visiting. Make sure you get close to the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.

We're avid travellers who love music, living well and having fun. We recently moved from Kelowna, BC, Canada to the amazing island of Kaua'i, HI. We loved the outdoorsy feel of Kelowna so the gorgeous beaches, amazing hikes and endless outdoor adventures here on Kauai are what drew us here and we have loved every minute of it since arriving. We also hosted a VRBO in Kelowna starting in 2015 and really enjoyed it so we can't wait to continue doing just that in our beautiful new condo here on The Garden Island. We love meeting new people both those who stay with us, and when we travel to stay with other hosts!
Why they chose this property
We just love the location of Plantation Hale and all it has to offer! Minutes from the airport and to be so centrally located really opens up every part of the island for travel. Nothing is too far away and there are SO many amazing things to see on Kauai, you're going to want to do it all! We also love all the fantastic things happening in and around Plantation Hale like the twice weekly farmers market where we get the vast majority of our produce, the superb restaurants like Hukilau Lanai and Lava Lava Beach club just to name a couple as well as the breathtaking ocean side bike path just up from the condo. We could go on and on but I can only fit so much in here!
