Choose between several outdoor seating areas on the terrace bordering the pool - two hammocks provide the perfect spot for relaxing. The outdoor dining table invites meals alfresco any time of day. Gather around the firepit and toast s'mores when the stars come out.

Three sets of sliding glass doors present seamless indoor/outdoor living and entertaining space. Beautifully appointed, the open kitchen and living space feature brand-new appliances and furnishings. Anchored by an island, the full kitchen is well-equipped with helpful extras like a blender, rice cooker, and coffee maker. A lovely globe pendant illuminates the living room, detailed with a TV and chic sofa. Extra perks include air-conditioning and room darkening shades plus orthopedic mattresses in the bedrooms, as well as WiFi and a washer/dryer.

Perfect view!

The house was just as advertised with the normal wear and tear of a bnb. Definitely get a 4x4 vehicle to make it up there it’s a. Bit of an uphill adventure. The house has great air conditioning which is great for how humid it gets there. I loved the wildlife and friendly dogs that roam around. View was to die for!

Just as described. You could get up the hill without four wheel drive in the dry season. Very quiet with no neighbors nearby. Nice breeze up here and it keeps everything nice and cool, including the lovely pool. Skinks,anoles, magpies and hawks are delightful. Do check your bedding, etc. for less cuddly visitors.

Ce qui est sur l’ image est là mais très désuet

La piscine savait beaucoup de sable et de noirceur à l intérieur donc pas comme sur la photo la salle de bain a eu plusieurs retouche beaucoup de peinture et plâtre sont à terre. Le travail n est pas impeccable comme sur les photos il y a une machine a lavé mais pas de savon .IL y a 5 louches à spaghetti mais aucun produit de base exemple ketchups sauce soya . J avais lu un commentaire sur l lumière extérieur qu il s allumait automatiquement et qui empêchait une des deux chambres de dormir nous avons couché dans l autre donc tout a bien été mais si on avait été 2 couples ceux qui auraient couché dans cette chambre n aurait pas aimé Au final oui la vue est belle mais l immeuble manque un peu d amour il a été construit ensuite les photos ont été prise mais ne semble pas avoir d entretien régulier de bonne qualité

Nice home nice view

Coolest spot of all!

This place is truly special. I own a sport fishing company in Flamingo, Fish Tale 2, and we come down many times a year. I have stayed at quite a few around the area. This one is different. It is just awesome. The views are spectacular. The place is all the things you expect, clean, well thought out, a great pool, a ton of space, all that jazz. But, it is the closest thing to "real Costa Rica" than anything else. The road for real needs 4x4, and is totally worth it. Getting to this house is half of the adventure. It is the closest we have felt to being in the woods in Costa Rica. Surrounded by the greatest unepeded sounds of the wildlife. Fruit is everywhere just growing on trees, and there is just not a better view of the sunset or sunrise. Favorite place for sure, on our list, shhh, don't tell too many people. But, this is a real good one.

Hilltop Paradise

First don’t consider this property without having a 4x4. You need it for access to the house and the beautiful super nearby gorgeous beaches. This house a contemporary modern vibe. It has two en-suite bedrooms with kitchen and living space in between. The house all the basic necessities. Just bring food and beverages with you. The star of this property is the view, pool and outdoor space. I can’t describe it other than breathtaking. We never got tired at looking at the constantly changing scenery. Lots of birds and howlers in the distance. We spent three nights and could easily have stayed many more. It didn’t bother us but if you NEED a full force shower to make you happy then this place is not for you. The management company was awesome, too. They brought out a new coffee carafe when we discovered a hole in the one there. Big bonus point to Andrey on that! Enjoy

Could be better

The views are great. The property is small and easy to use. The Wi-Fi was good. On the downside- it’s not easy to get to, even by CR standards (this is about the 10th house we’ve rented there). The access roads to the property are rough 15 minutes or so long, and wherever you go you must deal with them. The outdoor space is nice (there is more shade than the pictures show) but the outside furniture is uncomfortable. There are no cushions or loungers. The cleanliness was subpar. Despite its remote location, it’s not private. We were visited twice by the pool guy without warning, a construction crew, neighbors and others just walking around. I’m sure there are better options for the area. Andrew was very responsive to our service request and very helpful with directions.

This villa is everything

Everything about this modern home was incredible. Ocean view, infinity pool, hammocks, nestled in the mountains — wow. The host texted me early check-in which was really appreciated! It's small (probably 900ish square feet at most), so I wouldn't have more than 4 people stay here. I loved how remote it was, yet a short drive to everything. There's almost a beach right down the street. I don't think a 4x4 was absolutely necessary but it helped to have when the road washed out on our way in. The beds were on the firm side but we weren't hanging out so it didn't matter. If you listened, you can hear the howler monkey in the distance. We used the pool every morning and evening — truly incredible views. I recommend this place to everyone and would stay here again.

My family of four loved our stay at Casa Vista Mar. It is in a secluded area with lots of privacy; Casa Vista Mar is on a hilltop, with spectacular views. Highly recommended.

Quiet, Secluded, Beautiful

Beautiful modern space with an amazing view! If you’re looking for a quiet and more secluded area, this is it. It was exactly what I needed after 2 weeks on the road, before continuing with the road trip.
