The Tiger Lily cottage is situated on a 42-acre former dairy farm turned private nature preserve. This charming cottage was built in 1951 and has been completely renovated, including new central heat and air conditioning for year-round comfort.

Thoughtfully updated with all the necessary amenities, you can cozy up by the fire after hiking around the grounds sitting by the lake, or spending the day in nearby Athens, Marietta, or Hocking Hills.

The backyard is fully fenced-in and has a patio with a hot tub and a table and chairs. A secure gate opens to the larger property and offers easy access to a hammock, picnic table and trails.

Home and safe passage to many animals including deer, turkeys, squirrels, chipmunks, birds, turtles, fish and frogs, the open meadows, hills, woods, and lake offer offer guests a chance to roam, explore, and connect with nature.

Perfect little place

The only thing that could have made our stay better would be the weather cooperating a little better for our plans. This property is absolutely adorable, the owners have thought of everything someone could possibly need, and then some. The house is super clean and cozy. We wished we could take the place home with us. The owners were great, they were kind, attentive to our needs and quick to respond to messages. The scenery outback is beautiful and quiet. Hot tub was clean, and the perfect size for the 2 of us. Great little place to get away for the weekend, would definitely stay again. Thank you
