Our beach house at Sea Place (remodeled in 2016 kitchen, bathrooms and window treatments) is the perfect combo of convenience and luxury. Just half a block from the beach, it offers you the privacy of a house with gorgeous lake views, yet also boasts community amenities such as a pool, tennis, and racquetball! What an impeccable place for snowbirds to warm up for the winter. Everything that you need for an enjoyable vacation is all right here!
Sea Place is a single-story Spanish style house with a lush green lawn dotted with palms and convenient off-street parking for up to three cars (one garage space and two driveway spaces)! It sits lakefront, with a huge lanai filled with patio furniture and water views in two directions. The lanai will be the first place you fall in love with at Sea Place – it’s so relaxing, open, and refreshing, with balmy air, a cooling ceiling fan, and plenty of space. This beautiful patio-style home is perfect for Snowbirds seeking comfort, relaxation, and plenty of fun in the sun! Long-term renters are welcomed!
You may have to be coaxed in from the lanai, but the living room has its own charms. Blissfully cool with air conditioning, ceiling fans, and tiled floors, it’s the ideal spot to collapse in after a long day at the beach or in downtown St. Augustine! Comfy couches (one of which unfolds into a bed for two) may persuade you to close your eyes just for a moment . . . and wake up refreshed an hour later! The TV with cable and DVD player keeps the troops entertained, and the kids will love curling up on the all new living room furniture, replaced in 2018. This is a great place for a little group to share down time together!

Friends and Family Time

Wonderful place! Excellent location! Short walk to the beach. It was a little unclear about the checkin and going to a building to a lockbox-in the lockbox were two key cards, but we weren’t sure what they were for. It would have been nice to have that piece of info right on the checkin info- It does state that the key cards get you into the pool/beach in another spot of the reservation. All in all we loved the stay!

2 weeks with family and friends

Excellent quiet area. A short walk to the beach. Loved that they had baby equipment and toys that we put to good use for our 10 months old great grandchild. Our only disappointments were the hard water and the poor quality cleaning supplies provided. such as dishwasher tablets. We bought better quality products which made a big improvement. Also the porch fan was dirty as were some carpets. The furnace wasn’t working properly. Management was very responsive and sent a repair person.

Nice amenities and good location

Our family had a great week at this patio home. There is something for everyone-tennis, basketball, nice pools. The boardwalk to the beach has minimal stairs/incline which was very helpful for one person in our group with a bad knee. The patio home is light and airy. We also appreciated the beach chairs and toys in the garage.

Great location

The house, as advertised, was roomy, well furnished, and close to beach and pool. Although not advertised, it had beach chairs, toys, and towels. The trash was an issue. We put it out on Monday and Tuesday, but no one came so we put it back in the garage. The trash was picked up on Friday. We had a great time with our children and grandchildren and would request this unit again.

Cute place, I was hoping there was fishing but it’s an actual pond with lots of turtles. It was great to do puzzles and games when it was cold with the kids.

Halloween in Florida

This property was perfect for our stay. The ocean was close and just about perfect for the time we came. My kids loved the boogie boards and beach toys that were in the garage for our use. St Augustine was spooky and tons of fun for Halloween. We will be coming back again, for sure!

Very nice

The house was very bright and not cluttered. The three bedrooms worked well for the five of us. Two bedrooms at the front of the house and one bedroom overlooking the pond. This offered more privacy. The shared space was very bright and spacious. Favorite room was the all season porch for view of the pond and gentle breezes. Quiet area. Beach was a short walk. It was about 15-20 minutes drive to downtown St. Augustine.

Property was good but the management was horrible

I sent this email at 5:31pm last Sunday and still have had no response. I went later that night (24 hours after arrival) and the keys had been placed in the box. This really soured the first 24 hours of the trip, and I will never rent a property managed by Cyril’s again based on my experience. We arrived late last night and went to the office to get the “parking passes” from the box. The box was open and empty. The code worked on the door only after trying it about 20 times. Today we had the same problem so I called, and Anthony helped me reset the code. I asked Anthony how we would access the pool and the beach. After 20 minutes of “checking” for a code (after I told him it wasn’t a numbered pad), he told me I would have to go to the St Augustine office. I asked for the address and he asked if I had the email with it. At this point I was very frustrated, and asked him to give me the address and phone number of the office he was directing me too, I didn’t want to be directed to an email that did not have the information I was looking for. I called the number he provided at 5:27 and no one answered. I have now been at the beach 24 hours and have no access to the beach or pool, and have been told that tomorrow morning I can go to an office to maybe get help. This is unacceptable.

Wonderful Stay

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful home. It was extremely well equipped; can’t think of a thing it was missing. It was spotlessly clean. We loved the bed in the master bedroom and the gorgeous views out that window and from the living room and sunroom. Would definitely recommend and would love to stay again, 5 stars!

UPDATES--PERHAPS?

This has been our "snowbird" home for the last 4 years. We love the location and speaking with the owner each year....however it seriously needs an update to be competitive with other patio homes in the same location. Current condition leaves much to be desired but understand renovations are in process. New linens and new pillows after 30 years would also be high on our priority list. Can't wait to see new kitchen and bathrooms next year. All in all we share with Helen and her family her love of this home.

Great time with our St. Aug family, grandchildren, etc..

Nice rental property, enough room for up to 8 people to stay. Quiet & peaceful. Recommend they install some nice blinds in Master bedroom. May want to eventually upgrade the kitchen stove.
