The couch had a white/clear dried up substance all over, later to assume it was dog slobber due to the dog poop all over the unkept yard that does not have any grass as we expected. The tile around the pool area was muddy. Not just a little dirt, but legitimate mud was spread all over the patio. The patio furniture had white covers over the cushions that were so muddy and so dirty. My husband removed the covers and washed them. The screen for the pool was sliced open in two different areas, screen doors were also broken. The pots and pans and dishes in the kitchen were not clean. It appeared as if someone threw the dishes in the dishwasher with no soap, took them out and then put them away, so we just washed everything before we used it. And then the cockroaches- the first night my mother-in-law was scared out of her wits from the cockroach that came out under her bed. If this was one cockroach I wouldn’t even mention, But then you go into the garage and as soon as you turn on the light there are cockroaches running up the walls. Next day more roachies showed up throughout the house. We found three in the master bedroom, two were dead.When we reported all of this to the rental company they asked us to submit pictures which we did. We took pictures from all of our findings and emailed them over as they requested. They agreed to refund our cleaning fee, but would not let us out of our 6 day stay. This home was recently purchased by investors which I believe is the reason why.
