Great location, love the check in process, and also the wonderful breakfasts to start the day off before heading out for the day. Very clean!
Thank you!
We loved our stay. Ate breakfast on the porch, very large room with table and chairs and two comfy chairs. Enjoyed our breakfast on the front porch. Harbor bus is FREE and takes you into town so you don't have the hassle of parking and also goes to Acadia. Enjoyed Ebike tours of Acadia, Margaret Todd cruise and some great hikes. Great vacation with great accomodations!
We only had 3 days to visit the area. Our stay was very comfortable and convenient to Bar Harbor. We could walk the mile to town. Which was easier than trying to park dow there! Close to the entry to Acadia. Also appreciated the breakfast delivered to the room each morning. Everyone we ran across was very friendly.
We really enjoyed our stay here. The room had a vintage feel and was really clean. We appreciated complimentary breakfast and cookies. Finally, this location allows you to use the shuttle system-which makes it really convenient to visit Acadia or downtown Bar Harbor. We would definitely stay here again.
Reminiscent of motels from days past, but updated, great bed, great service and breakfast using text system, absolutely spotless. The unit had everything we needed. As the downtown bus stops right in front, we hardly needed a car. Would happily return.
Honestly, we were concerned to be staying in a motel. But we were pleasantly surprised. The room was spacious, clean and welcoming. The check in and check out processes were simple and efficient. The free catered breakfasts and canteen with free waters, soft drinks, etc. was nice. Communications from the staff were timely and helpful. We highly recommend this property.
This was a good experience for us. We liked that breakfast was delivered in the morning and appreciated the ease of access. Downtown Bar Harbor was within a mile walk or a short drive. We had everything we needed plus free popcorn and cookies!
The room had everything we needed for a long weekend. Communication with the staff was done over text or there was an app available to make getting in contact with them seamless. Location was great, just a 20 minute walk from downtown bar harbor and very close to Acadia National Park, we were able to bike there pretty easily!
Adam knows best. Online check-in and delivered to your door breakfast and linens is the best. And the food is good! Breakfast sandwich, bagels, muffins, but my favorite is the steel cut oats with walnuts and cranberries. Comfortable bed. In room Keurig. Five stars.
We enjoyed the accommodations very much. Quaint, nostalgic property with updated interior. It was close to town and in a great location. No ocean view but so close to the ocean. The bed was great, the service was outstanding. The common area provided free drinks, popcorn and snacks. Each evening we would order breakfast and pick the arrival time. One day we slept in and had a late breakfast while most days we were up early. We enjoyed every aspect of this property. It was quite at night and very nice place to rest. I would recommend it highly.
Great location close to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. Park right in front of room. Room super clean and bright and nicely decorated and furnished as if recently renovated. Spacious and comfortable. Light breakfast items delivered to room per a checklist guest submits on-line the night before. Keurig in room. K-cups, canned pop, bottled water, microwave popcorn, ice, and evening cookies provided for the taking in a central, common area. Communication great and appeared to be highly automated. Exceeded expectations. Would stay again and recommend to others.
This motel room was clean and easy to check in and out of. The delivered breakfast was an added benefit. Even for high season, the price gave us pause, but the location really can’t be beat. We would stay again.
Restaurants and major bus route one block away. Metro subway and grocery store about one half mile. Very clean and up to date property. We will consider Sonder again as we travel to other cities.
