Sofa beds hurt, but overall it was fine

It’s an open plan, I slept in the sofa bed, no sofa bed is comfortable ever. It is “walking distance to everything” if you like to hike. Otherwise a beautiful setting and close to town

About the host

Retired couple (42 years!) who live in the main house on the hillside above the Folly. The main house was constructed by the owners' parents in 1948, and the owner was born there and has subsequently added built his own additions to the property. As life-long residents, we love to welcome guests to our villiage!

Why they chose this property

Unique, cool and comfortable. The charm of the Folly is second to none in our area. The location affords easy access (walking distance) to Carmel-by-the-Sea, the Carmel Mission and Carmel Beach. Easy to find and convenient to Highway 1 and the coast, Carmel Valley, and the Monterey region.
