We have the perfect location for your needs and desires. Specializing in large groups, weddings, family reunions, outfitters, corporate meetings, and retreats. This property has about 6,400 s.f. of living space consisting of the lodge and the retreat house, with an attached 3-car garage. It sits on 35 acres with beautiful views of the adjoining mountains. Minutes from downtown Cody which has the World-Famous Cody Nite Rodeo, Buffalo Bill Historical Center and Museums, nightly re-enacted gunfights, shopping, rec center with pool, and more. Also minutes from the Buffalo Bill Reservoir, Buffalo Bill Dam and Visitor's Center.


Centrally located to unlimited outdoor recreational opportunities which can be enjoyed on a day-trip basis, such as Yellowstone National Park, Thermopolis Hot Springs and Dinosaur Museum, Shell Canyon, Wind River Canyon, Little Big Horn, the Medicine Wheel, Big Horn Mountains, Beartooth Mountains, Pryor Mountain Wild Horse range, and Grand Teton National Park.

Perfect Family Getaway
We recently stayed at the beautiful cabin and had an absolutely wonderful time! The cabin was incredibly spacious, easily accommodating our entire family with plenty of room to spare. The kitchen was a dream - fully stocked with all the amenities you could possibly need, including an industrial coffee maker, icemaker, crockpots, several griddles and more. Each bedroom was comfortable and provided a cozy retreat after a full day. We loved the outdoor space, especially playing cornhole together, two pellet grills and one of the highlights of our stay was watching the horses nearby- beautiful! If you're looking for a spacious, well-equipped cabin for a family getaway, this is a perfect place. We would definitely stay here again!

Week was a trip to remember
We had a family reunion with 14 people from 3 different states. 8 adults and 6 kids from 8-12. The host met us at check-in and provided a full tour of the premises. There are so many bedrooms. During our week we had a couple of interactions with the hosts Linda and Rick and each one was a delight. We weren't in the house during the day much as we had planned a number of outings (Yellowstone, rafting, rockhounding, the Rodeo etc. We went into Yellowstone from both the East entrance and the northeast entrance via the Chief Joseph Trail (beautiful scenery). At night we cooked a lot and had a campfire on the patio, with smores of course. The view is amazing and we got to watch a thunderstorm one night. All in all we fell in love with the property and enjoyed very much dealing with the hosts. We would highly recommend this venue for as many as 40 people. We had a blast.

Family reunion
22 participants, 3 generations of family from 5 states. Wide variety of activities available, for which hosts did excellent job arranging information and passes. Rural; there was no feeling of encroachment. Plenty of room both inside and out, and great scenery. Hosts were very attentive to hospitality and communication. Boris (a big, friendly dog) did his part, too, checking with us frequently.

SO memorable!
The location was absolutely perfect for our small family wedding. Not only is the lodge perfect for a large group with many beds/toilets/seating but the property managers were SO GRACIOUS and flexible with many caterers/service people needing to come and go outside of the official check-in/out time. I couldn't have been happier with all the amenities and quality of the property!!!

We were so impressed with this VRBO. The house, actually 2 houses were immaculate. Beautiful sunsets viewed from the large deck. We appreciated the gift basket that Linda had prepared and the VIP rodeo tickets. What a fantastic find!!!! Everything was perfect and I would give it ten stars. We hated to leave this very special place.

This was a great property to host 22 people! They had 40 coffee mugs, large, a huge coffee maker. We cooked and it was fun and easy. There were horses all around. It was a truly peaceful place. Bring fire for their fire pit, which looked fun. All in all great experience. They even greeted us when we arrived.

I cannot say enough good things about this property! Eight bedrooms and 6 bedrooms have their own bathroom, two bedrooms share a bathroom. Three sets of washer/dryer combos made laundry a breeze. Three refrigerators, 2 kitchens, 3 living rooms, and an industrial size ice machine make this the PERFECT family vacation spot! We had 14 adults and plenty of space if you needed privacy. There were horses in the field outside the home. Your mountain view from the deck was postcard worthy. Our hostess, Linda, was quick to respond and so friendly. We LOVED Bull Moose Retreat.

Beautiful place!
My family all stayed there was a group of 15 of us, ranging in age from 71-5. We really enjoyed our stay, the deck has amazing views, there is so much room, and the kids absolutely loved the place. They didn’t want to leave. The house really has everything you need for cooking meals at the house as well. The house is in a great location, just minutes away from really anything in Cody. Linda and Rick were so friendly! Linda was so accommodating, she was just a phone call or text away. She responded so quickly, and gave us some great recommendations for things to do and see. We loved our visit.

This was a perfect place to hold an anniversary party. My parents celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary at Moose Bull Lodge. It was perfect. The owners were very nice. The houses had plenty of room and a huge kitchen. Outdoors was great too. Horse shoes and fire pit. I would recommend this place to anyone.
