Nashville Stay

The property manager was very responsive. Only one parking spot, but we were able to find street parking very close for our other car.

Nashville Trip for Concert

We stayed one evening. We did like the unit. It was roomy and the front balcony was nice. It was close enough to downtown and in a nice neighborhood. It was a 3 story haul to get to the unit, so if you are older or out of shape, it may not work for you. We had trouble getting into unit at the end of the evening. Thanks to the owner for answering our call at midnight to assist us getting in. Some suggestions for the owner: There was no soap for the shower, there was 1 ice tray in the freezer. The step down in the kitchen can be dangerous - a strip of red tape doesn't cut it. Overall, I'm not sure if I would stay there again.

great location, cute property and neighborhood

We enjoyed this property-- it worked well for us and our trip needs -- is very close to Belmont and Vanderbilt universities -- can walk. Also not far from DT and other tourist areas. Felt like a safe neighborhood, enjoyed the trees and the birds and relaxing on the balcony. Is an older apartment -- needs a little work -- but has character. Should know ahead of time that the terra cotta tile floors are very uneven and floor is not level -- could be a tripping hazard for some -- and there is quite a climb up a flight of stairs that are also uneven and hard to climb with heavy luggage. Our toilet also leaked a couple of days onto the bathroom floor - plumber said it was due to the heavy rains? -- didn't understand that, maybe it's an "older building" thing?-- but management was easy to work with and gracious enough to give us a one night's credit for the inconvenience. Other than that, only improvements I could think of was to have a better selection of tv channels -- maybe some basic cable -- and maybe upgrade some of the furniture. Looks like some upgrades had been done, but the chair and dresser in the primary bedroom could've used replacing. Otherwise, I would probably book here again in the future. Thanks!

Had a few surprises

We stayed 4 nights, nice neighborhood, close to many things. The furniture was adequate. The master bed was comfortable. Living room furniture so so. We were not aware this unit was on the second floor, for a couple retired folks with back problems this was a challenge. It’s an old house so the stairs are steep and quite narrow. Also poorly lit, especially the back stairs. The tile floor tiles are uneven, a trip hazard for those with mobility issues. The bathtub shower was downright unsafe. The glass door unit was pretty much falling apart, not attached to walls and the doors were off the tracks. I did not feel safe using it, so I didn’t. This is the biggest issue that should be addressed immediately. The hot and cold water in the bathroom sink sink are switched, not such a big deal once you realize it, but also it’s an easy fix. The bathroom towels were very lovely, there was one dish towel. When we asked for a few more one was dropped off. One ice cube tray isn’t enough. The step down into the eating nook is easy to miss. Should have better marking on it. The kitchen is tiny, but for the most part that’s not a big deal. There is parking but it’s tricky and hard to find the first time, especially in the dark.balcony was a nice treat. It’s a charming old house in a quaint neighborhood. With some simple repairs and upgrades it could be be very lovely. Not sure if we would stay again unless the repairs were made. Brianna was helpful and easy to work with. VRBO not so much.
