Welcome to your home away from home. The Martin house is a perfect getaway for small town festivities. The home has 4 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. The downstairs bedrooms each have a queen bed, the upstairs bedrooms have a king and 2 twin beds. The sofa also pulls out to make a full bed. The kitchen has all of the essentials including a double wall oven, gas stove, and microwave. There is a weber gas grill on the back patio. The garage has a pool table, tv, and comfy seating. With 4 acres of land and a fire pit you will have plenty of space to spend time outdoors. The home includes a dining room with a table to fit the whole family as well as a screened in porch. There are bicycles that you are welcome to use to ride around town. The home is newly renovated in neutral colors and most furniture and beds are new.

Spring break getaway

This was a wonderful large home for our family (My husband and I, our kids and 2 grands). We all had our own space and privacy. The kitchen was well stocked with spices and everything needed for cooking. We hiked both Shades and Turkey Run State Parks.

Christmas Vacation

We needed a place to gather our kids and grandkids for Christmas. This was the a great solution for us!What a wonderful home!This has a large yard to run in and a long driveway for the kids to ride bikes and play basketball. We enjoyed the large dining room where we all sat for several big dinners. And after the young ones went to bed we gathered around the game room to play pool and board games. Highly recommended place to stay with friends or family.

Love the Spaces

This is an older property with a few quirks, charming and very clean. Beds were quite comfortable. Situated on a highway but the lot itself is wooded. Late October can bring a variety of weather, so we were happy with the spacious living and dining areas plus choices of outdoor spaces -- my favorite was the covered, screened-in porch. We found the location convenient to amenities (including the Visitor Center) and it was a lovely drive to Turkey Run.

Clean and comfortable

Great place for our family reunion. The whole place was immaculately clean and equipped with everything we needed. We enjoyed the well maintained and spacious yard for outdoor games and the pool table on rainy days. Location is nearby several beautiful State parks. We would stay again.

Wonderful home for the whole family

We felt this was a great location to stay close to turkey run and shades state parks. The house was very clean and the bedrooms were great to accommodate our family. The grandkids loved the large back yard and the screened in porch was my favorite to sit on in the early morning and listen to the horse and buggies clomp on by. The large couch in the family room was perfect for our group. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen very well stocked. The whole family loved it and we would definitely stay there again. The host was very accommodating and quickly responded to questions.

Charming Home in Rockville

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Rockville is a charming town with great downtown square area and close to three State Parks/Recreation areas. Property is as advertised and has beautiful back yard area. Host is gracious and responsive! We had a wonderful stay and highly recommend to anyone considering!

Nice Home Near Turkey Run

This place was awesome! The giant yard was nice for the kids to run around. Everything was well supplied; balls, games, chairs etc. for outside and garage; everything we needed in the kitchen; extra blankets etc. for the rooms. Super clean. Definitely would stay here again!

The house is really nice with a fully stocked kitchen, 2 real bathrooms, great outdoor spaces and there’s even a pool table in the game room/garage. Perfect place to stay if you’re visiting the state parks!

Family comfort and fun

The house is tastefully decorated and has plenty of room. The beds are very comfortable. The inside and outside spaces for recreation are wonderful for families. We were very happy with the match between our expectations and what we experienced during our stay.

Wonderful Stay

The home was very clean. We enjoyed many of the extras that the owners thought about! The game room with a heaters, the front porch with a heater, the outdoor areas with string lights, the bikes, basketball hoop, and the list goes on! Definitely enjoyable for all ages. Everything was stocked and available to us. Close to the cute downtown town of Rockville as well as a short drive to Turkey Run and Shades State Parks. Wonderful stay.

Clean and comfy

We absolutely loved this home. Anything and everything you would ever need. Loved that it smelled clean and was clean! The bed and the linens were the best in any VRBO that I’ve been in. A very thoughtful informative booklet was available to help with eateries and etc… Would love to come back when it’s a bit warmer. Loved all the activities that were available for the guests.

Excellent stay

We really enjoyed this property. Perfect amount of room and excellent location to places we visited. And that was with lots of snow.....we can't wait to visit when its warmer so we can truly enjoy the rest of the property. Will definitly stay again.

Well cared for and equipped

Our family Christmas was blessed to use this home; decorated including a tree was perfect. We've stayed at a lot of VRBOs and this kitchen was very well equipped with pots/pans/utensils/applicances/basic spices/place settings for a family of 7. Pool table was fun and owner was very responsible in planning our stay.
