North Heaven

Fantastic property. Nothing quite like it. Fabulous walking trails, beaches, and impeccably maintained gardens. Hosts were extremely responsive and helpful in making our stay perfect.

Family vacation

The house was wonderful - a classic old Maine house with plenty of charm but also modern amenities. We used all 4 bedrooms and each had its own bathroom. The third floor bedrooms were cozy and adorable and perfect for our 2 teenage girls. The property was exquisite with manicured grass and blooming plants and flowers, juxtaposed with the wildness of meadows. We sat outside in the Adirondack chairs watching deer saunter by and sailboats cross the sea view. The kitchen had all the cooking necessities and on a rainy day we made a fire in the living room fireplace and stayed warm and dry. It’s just a short stroll down a path to the dock where we jumped into the sea. There is a longer beautiful path from the house that takes you along the sea and past a couple of rocky beaches. On warmer days we enjoyed the beautiful heated pool which is long enough for swimming laps. We loved going into ‘town’ for lobster rolls and ice cream at the Landing, or fresh donuts and coffee at the Community Center. Taking the ferry from Rockland was a breeze. It was an absolutely perfect Maine vacation.

Absolutely Fantastic

Spectacular location out on Crabtree Point. I almost don't want to write a review so as not to attract more people to this beautiful spot! But it really was incredible...

Beautiful, magical, and very special

This is a very special house, in a very special part of the world. The house is historic and the furnishings are beautiful. Very comfortable. Everything was exactly as the host said it would be.
