Offering unparalleled tranquility and solitude, this immaculate log cabin, nestled on 8+ acres within the private Gateway Mountain Nature Preserve, is under a 30-minute drive to the shops, restaurants, and breweries in the charming small towns of Old Fort and Black Mountain!
On the main level, step into a spacious living room with a 75" smart TV (streaming only), before your eyes are drawn to the fully enclosed sunroom with long-range mountain views, including views of towering Mt. Mitchell. Also on the main level are two traditional bedrooms, one with a King-size bed and one with a Queen-size bed, a full bathroom, a powder room, and a laundry room. Additional sleeping space is provided with a twin-size bed located just off the family room. A well-equipped kitchen, complete with a water and food station for the furry traveler in your group, creates a home-sweet-cabin feel. The upper level is home to an open-air loft with casual seating and a primary bedroom with a King-size bed and en-suite bathroom.
The large windows with picturesque views along with the vaulted ceilings in the living room allow an abundance of sunlight to filter into the loft. Outside, the expansive deck provides multiple options for seating, including rocking chairs, bistro seating for two, and additional seating in the yard for a true front-seat view of the mountainsides beyond. Use the gas grill to whip up delicious summer favorites to enjoy together at the outdoor dining table over a glass of wine and great conversation. The fire pit, built with relaxation in mind, offers even more unparalleled views and is sure to inspire kids and adults alike to roast the perfect marshmallow. The newly added 3-person hot tub adds a touch of luxury to your private mountain escape and is the perfect spot to unwind after a full day of adventure!
