Beachwood Villas 2A is a 1-bedroom condo unit at the front of the complex, putting you even closer to the beach access across 30A. 2A includes a queen bedroom and a hallway bathroom with tub/shower combination. To sleep 2 more guests, the chaise sofa converts to a queen bed by moving in the ottoman. This option offers much greater comfort over your traditional pull out sofa.

Spend your mornings or evenings on the patio overlooking the beautifully landscaped courtyards. Relax on the chaise sofa and watch your favorite TV show when you're taking a break from the beach (or one of the 2 pools).

Beach Access:
From the front of the complex you’re just 200 yards to the Beachwood Villas beach access across the street from Tom Thumb (the corner of 30A and Somerset Bridge Rd.). Just a 2-minute walk and you’ll have your toes in the sand.

Beachwood Villas:
Come enjoy this family-friendly affordable complex on the north side of 30A ... it's within easy walking distance to our famous emerald waters. The perfect location for a 30A rental. There is no shortage of amenities with 2 pools (1 is heated seasonally; call for dates), shuffleboard, tennis, and community charcoal grills. For your convenience there is an onsite laundry facility. After a day of relaxing on the beach, stroll along the many paths leading to the peaceful courtyards and lush landscaping. Take advantage of the local shops and restaurants many of which are within walking or biking distance. The 20-mile Timpoochee bike trail runs right outside the complex.

A Benchmark welcome bag and initial starter kit of amenities are provided for all guests. For the kitchen this includes: 1 roll of paper towels, 1 dish sponge, 1 dish soap, 2 dishwasher pods, and 1 liner for each trashcan. For each bathroom it includes: 1 roll of toilet paper, 1 set of soap/body wash/shampoo/conditioner/lotion. For towels you will receive: 1 body towel/1 washcloth per guest and 2 hand towels per bathroom.

Great visit to Beachwood Villas

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I have been coming to BWV for over 20 years and have stayed in many different units. They all serve the same purpose of rest/relaxation/convenience and proximity to some of the best beaches in the country. We feel fortunate to live just a short drive north in Atlanta. We found this unit to be very comfortable. We typically don't sit and watch TV, but this unit had a slightly different layout, so we found ourselves lounging on the sofa watching TV in the evenings. Maybe because there wasn't a TV in the bedroom, but that didn't bother us. The only thing I think would make the unit better is an exhaust fan in the bathroom. The lightbulb in the overhead fan in the bedroom was very dim, not sure if it needed changed or if the fan unit was broken somehow. The fan worked just fine though. Thanks again for a lovely beach trip.

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We arrived on Saturday at 5pm but found that our code to get in was not working. We called the management service but no one except the answering service was there, they did not have a way of giving us our correct code. We were told to call back in 30 minutes if we didn’t hear anything. We had to call back and were then transferred to the on call service where we got our code to get in. We feel as though it should have been easier to get in touch with someone immediately on a day that a large amount of guests check into rental properties, and after a long travel day we were upset we had to drive around and wait for a call back because we did not have access to our rental. The following morning we woke up to find ants all over the kitchen counter. They did sent a maintenance man out the next morning, but the ant issue persisted during our entire stay. We frequently had to wipe down the counters to control the ants ourselves. Lastly, the floors were disgusting- shoes were required to walk around otherwise your feet and socks would be black. We understand the stay could have been far worse, but being one of the bigger management companies in 30A, we expected better.As far as we know, there was no way to get in touch with the unit owner, just the management team.

We arrived an hour and a half after check in. Condo was not ready. It was peak season so I understand the staff being behind, but a text/email/call anything would have been nice. Condo was nice. No complaints there. Main complaint is we had literally 30ft of beach once we got down to the beach, that you have to share with the WHOLE COMPLEX. This was a deal breaker for me. Had I known this prior to renting I would not have rented at Beachwood Villas. So if you do not want to sit on top of strangers while on the beach you do not need to stay here. Also, the pool was hotter then it was outside.

Beach Trip 2022 - Beachwood Villas - Unit 2A

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was the 3rd time that I have stayed at Beachwood Villas. I will definitely stay again but probably not in this particular unit. The location of the building to beach access was perfect but the unit itself had a few things that I didn't care for:1 - Ants in the kitchen. An exterminator came the day that I arrived but the ants were still present when I left.2 - The tub/shower floor was very smooth/slick. Someone is going to slip on that at some point. I finally put a towel down while showering so as to not be that someone3 - The ceiling fan in the bedroom was dangling by its electrical wires down from the ceiling. This caused it to swing/sway a lot and it created a clinking sound which was impossible to not hear. I finally turned the fan off while I slept

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Unfortunately the pool shown as an amenity was not only closed but green and dirty. Ants in kitchen and bathroom! They said the sent exterminator but just dropped off raid. Internet wasn’t working Mold in several spots in the bathroom.
