Combining a relaxed Bahamian styled exterior with luxury inside, this beach home is a gem. Renovated to the highest standards, the home boasts granite counter tops, top of the line appliances, hardwood floors, and gourmet kitchen. The home has 3 bedrooms and 3 en suite full bathrooms. The master and 2nd bedroom look out on the turquoise Bahamian sea and have French doors that lead onto a spacious deck. Other amenities include pool, and tennis court.

This property provides the perfect getaway from the stress and strain of modern life and is ideal for a relaxing family holiday or romantic break. Although it feels a world away from the hustle and bustle of the city it is only 30 minutes flight from Miami, Fort Lauderdale, or Nassau.

Perfect reset

Everything about this villa is a perfect set up for relaxation. The location couldn’t be better. It's quiet but close enough to Banana Bay to walk for drinks or food. The porch is the gold medal winner. If it’s windy … porch, rainy.. porch, too hot… porch. Bruce was easy to contact and Andrew is the kindest person we spoke with all week. Thank you!

Best location on the Island.

We paid for the location and we were not disappointed. Centrally located and walking distance to restaurants on the beach. We hope to return next year.

Absolutely AMAZING!

We were a family of four, and had an absolutely incredible stay at Bruce and Anna’s home. From airport pickup with Andrew, to an incredibly clean, warm and welcoming home- every detail you could ever think of was already covered! Lots of cookware if you want to cook in, and great restaurant recommendations (The Sand Bar, Banana Bay, and more!) The beds were SO comfy, and the entire home was just so wonderful to be in. The beach front location was absolutely perfect, and it was so nice to just walk out anytime you wanted to enjoy the ocean!!! We were often the only people on the beach! It was magical! Utmost thanks to Bruce and Anna for being incredible hosts and allowing my family to make such special memories! We hope to come back!

Great location!

We had a wonderful time here! The kids loved waking up and playing on the beach everyday. There was an area the kids could snorkel right out front (they have plenty of snorkels at the house, no need to pack them) and we walked to Banana Bay most days for lunch which was very convenient. We rented a car from Brads which is definitely a must. The location of this house is perfectly central to all kinds of visitor spots and restaurants. Stoned Crab restaurant, Port Lucaya, and Coral Vita were some of our favorite spots! There is a pool on the property, however it doesn't look very well maintained so we stuck to the beach. Andrew was a wonderful help with getting from the airport to the rental when we arrived. The weather wasn't the greatest for our visit, luckily we had the covered porch to hide from the rain. The rental had all the necessities for cooking, lots of beach chairs, towels, and we benefitted from doing laundry on site! All around great spot for a family vacation!

Amazing property

This experience was one of the best. The property manager met us at the airport, showed us the house, answered questions. The house was beautiful and well equipped. The view couldn't of been better. So close to the beach/ocean. Absolutely beautiful, so relaxing. We will definitely be going back.

Such a special stay! It was all we were hoping and more…location is epic, house is beautiful and was perfect for my family of 5, communication was great, I could go on and on! Only regret was it went by too fast! Cant wait to go back!

Great getaway

Directly on beach which made for long lazy days. Banana bay within walking distance for lunch and drinks. Grocery store within driving distance, we cooked in most evenings. Very relaxing

Beautiful House with the Best Location on the Island

Bruce has it down!! This house is Beautiful, well stocked kitchen and linens, very clean with an excellent location. Beach is private and clean, restaurants in walking distance. Andrew is always available and helpful. Neighborhood is quiet, clean and gated. We visit Grand Bahamas /Freeport 6 to 8 times a year we put this House at the top of the list best place we have stayed. Don't hesitate book it now & go de-compress I promise its heaven waiting. Beyond perfect!!!

The most phenomenal location on Grand Bahama! The house is superb with 2 king suites and a double twin suite on a nearly secluded beautiful beach. We felt extremely safe in the gated community. Close to restaurants of all price ranges, shopping, and attractions. We can’t wait to come back.

Wonderful beachfront home

Bruce’s home was complete paradise! It was great to be so close to the beach and Banana Bay. We saw a sting ray swim past- the water is so clear here. The house had everything we needed and Andrew was available whenever we had an issue. We would book again.

Ultimate Beach House

My husband and I rented this wonderful beach home with another couple and found it to be one of the best parts of our trip. We were very surpised by the quality of the furniture, linens, amenities, etc. The views are stunning, the privacy and location - perfect. The owners were very friendly and easy to work with too. I would highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a beach get-away! We would definatley do it again!

Beautiful location and beautiful home. The house is very comfortable and was perfect for my family of four. Right on a beautiful beach with easy access to a small restaurant. House could use a bit of decluttering and AC needs work. Other than these minor issues it is a great find.

Beautiful beach

Our family really enjoyed our visit to Paradise Villa. Bruce was very helpful as he answered every email I sent him with questions about his home. Renting a car from Brad's Car Rental was quick and easy-you definitely will want a car to go to the grocery and sightsee. The house was very comfortable and we had plenty of room. The house is just steps from the beach-closer than it looks in the photos. The water was amazing-clear and warm. I also love how quiet the beach here is. There was only one other family sharing this large stretch of beach with us. It's so nice to have a private place to stay on such a gorgeous beach. We had a wonderful vacation and we would love to return!

Fairwinds and following seas to our son

Our host Bruce had great communication with us even with him living in another time zone. When we arrived to the airport, Sonia was there to greet us and direct us to our house. She answered questions we had about the island. Andrew was not only helpful in getting us propane for the gas grill, he also is an excellent chef. Take advantage of his delicious local and fresh food he makes. The house was absolutely beautiful! The beach is literally a few steps out the back door of the house. It was clean and had all the basic necessities. Due to the hurricane a few years ago, the island is having difficulties rebuilding which can make tourism suffer. The casino is no longer there as well as several restaurants, although advertised on the Internet. Our advice is to drive around yourself or ask others. There are some great local restaurants available nearby and even walking distance from the VRBO. All in all, this is just what our family needed. A way to relax and spend time together before our son joined the US military. Good food, friendly local people, beautiful beaches, beautiful house and great family time. We would stay here again!

Paradise

This house is amazing. Communication with the Owner was excellent. The Property Manager was very helpful, cooked us meals before we got there and picked up a few items at the grocery store for us. The location was perfect. Just far enough away from all the tourists and close enough to go to the Grocery Store, Shopping and Excursions. The water is beautiful, the location is great and of course we did not want to leave. Just a quick walk down the beach is Banana Bay Restaurant where you can rent a lounge chair for $5 and order drinks and lunch. At low tide a sand bar appears and is awesome to walk out on. Fabulous Vacation Home!

Absolutely loved this home! I am not great with words so let me list the things: 3 separated bedrooms with attached baths, fully stocked kitchen, seating for everyone in every room. Be it the dining room, living room or spectacular patio, there was an abundance of seating. The patio....you won't want to leave it!! French doors off of every room with screens, so the ocean breeze can float in day and night. We rented a car from Brad's and that too was a smooth transaction. Banana Cay restaurant a picturesque 10 minute walk down the beach open everyday from 10-5...loved it, ate there everyday! We were a party of 6 and everyone had a fabulous time....we will absolutely be back!

Excellant vacation villa

This was our first time renting from the VRBO website and I will admit we were a little nervous. But once Andrew met us at the airport as promised and arrived at the villa all of our worries vanished. The House looked exactly like the pictures.The kitchen is very well equipped so if you choose to cook you have everything you need. There is a gas grill that we used on a few nights,sat on the porch and ate enjoying the views. I highly recommend bringing snorkel gear so that you can experience the coral reefs right outside the back door. There are also plenty of other activities on the island to keep you busy. We would definitely rent this villa again and have already recommended it to friends and family that are thinking about traveling to Freeport.

Amazing girls trip!

Every year my long time friend of 50 years take a trip somewhere new. We have traveled all over the world and have visited many Carribean Islands. The people on this island are the most friendly and welcoming thus far! The house is very spacious and in a great safe location which is very important for two 65 yr old women traveling alone. The views everyday from the deck is breathtaking. The communication with the owner and his manager was great! Andrew and his family were so accommodating from beginning to end. We rented a car from Brads and explored the island. There is a restaurant a few minutes walk down the beach called Bahama Bay we went to a few times. Our favorite was the Greek Restaurant at the Port Lucaya Market place. Great Gyros to compare to the ones we had in Greece. Thanks Bruce and Andrew! We look forward to visiting the island again!!!😎

Wanted to take this house home!

Wonderful home away from home! Our group of 4 really enjoyed our 8 day stay here. The island is still a little beat up from the last hurricane but the house is beautiful, spacious, and has everything you need. It really is as nice as the pictures! We spent hours sitting on the back porch enjoying the ocean breeze, walked an hour on the beach every day and did some great snorkeling at Paradise Cove. With a friendly and helpful caretaker only a phone call away we really couldn't ask for more. Brad's Car Rental was easy. We enjoyed lunches at Banana Bay (a short walk down the beach) and being visited daily by a blue heron that would circle the house. The choppy water and strong winds kept us from doing as much scuba diving as we had originally planned - but the house was so comfortable, we didn't really need to leave it anyway! Our only disappointment was that we couldn't stay longer!

This is me with my family on the beach right outside the property. We live in the UK but love to get over to Grand Bahama as often as possible - if you've experienced the weather in the UK then you'll understand why!

Why they chose this property

We rented this property in March 2008 and found it so perfect that we bought it a few months later. We love the property, it's location and the beautiful island of Grand bahama. We enjoy the wonderful feeling of relaxation and security.

What makes this property unique

Although only 30 minutes flight from Miami or Fort Lauderdale Grand Bahama feels like a different world. The pace of life is relaxed and you can feel the stress falling away from you as soon as you arrive. Every time we arrive at the villa and step out onto the deck we still go 'wow' at the spectacular view of the turquoise view of the ocean, just steps away.
