Let there be peace!

This place is out away from all the hubbub but not too far from where you want to go. Beautiful drive out through scenic Valley Crucis. Up a gravel road/trail and the cabin is perfectly set up off the road /trail. Extremely peaceful!!

Perfect Mountain Getaway

Great little mountain cabin and close to all the skiing/snow tubing. The inside is modern and perfect for a no frills escape. Nestled on a mountainside, the fire pit and stream were wonderful to sit by and relax. Will def be back for another trip to the mountains.

PEACEFUL and comfortable - responsive, helpful host...

We enjoyed our peaceful mornings on the porch with coffee - what a great way to start the day! Close to Boone and Banner Elk (20 mins either way). In the middle of nature with all the comforts of home, to include great wi-fi if you choose to stay connected. AC was great and so is the water pressure :) Shampoo and soap provided. 5 mins to historical Mast Store with conveniences, snacks, souvenirs. Be sure to ask about the history and the houses across the street :)

Cabin Getaway

A nice quiet place for two near Valle Crisis and Banner Elk. Has everything you need inside. Quite good AC. Nice bath and kitchenette. We will certainly rebook again.

I have stayed at this property twice now and both experiences were great! The rental is very clean, tastefully decorated and is stocked with anything you might need for your stay. I highly recommend!

Cool Mountain Stay

We needed a day or two out of the summer heat and this quaint little mountain house was the perfect place for our retreat. The house is small but was all we needed. Loved the quiet neighborhood as well. Neighbors walked their dogs past the house in the morning and waved. Super friendly place. Convenient to Valle Crucis and Banner Elk.

Perfect little cabin

The cabin was perfect. We needed something close to App so we could move our son out of his dorm and this location worked great. We only spent one night and didn’t have an opportunity to use the fire pit or grill. The bed was super comfy and everything was nice and clean. Would absolutely stay here again.

Love this place

We love this little cottage. It is close to Boone but tucked away so you feel like you are away from the city and this allows you to truly relax. Our little one still sleeps in a pack and play so we put him in the hallway and our older child slept on the pull out bed which he loved.

Quaint cabin, perfect for a couple (in our case a plus one teen). Wonderfully appointed with everything g you need to be comfy and cozy! Just wish we could have stayed longer!

Perfect small hideaway
