The Lounge is located in historic midtown KC where everything is at your doorstep. The Plaza, Downtown KC, Brookside and Waldo are all within 5-8 minutes of the property. This property will go above and beyond your expectations for an Airbnb. Quality and comfort where a top priority and you will definitely notice the difference.

Host will not be on site during your stay but am available by phone or text if you should need anything.

The Lounge is located close to many of Kansas City’s most historic sites. The property is just minutes away from The Country Club Plaza, the Nelson Atkins Art Museum, Westport, Brookside, UMKC, Rockhurst, Downtown and Waldo! The property is also 15-20 minutes from The Royals and Chiefs Stadiums and 20 minutes to Kansas City’s International Airport.

Guests will have access to the entire house and backyard.

The Area:
The Lounge is perfect for nightly, weekly or even monthly stays. The location is excellent for getting all over Kansas City. Some of the most historic sites and attractions are within minutes. The Nelson Atkins Museum (12 min walk), The Country Club Plaza (5 min. drive), Crown Center (8 min. drive), and Downtown Kansas City and the Power and Light District (10 min. drive)...just to name a few. If you don't feel like driving there are plenty of Uber and Lyft rides available.

The House:
The Lounge has been thoughtfully designed and appointed to cover all of your traveling needs.

Kitchen: Equipped with all major appliances and plenty of counter space including a large island! Additional bar stool seating at the island. Whether you want to cook a gourmet meal, enjoy a fresh cup of coffee or end the day with a luscious glass of wine, we have you covered! The dining room has a large table to seat six and a full coffee bar! Enjoy a cup of coffee with one of the many brewing options offered including: Keurig coffee machine, drip coffee maker, pour over or a French press. Coffee grounds, creamer and sugar is provided for every stay!

Bedrooms: One of the bedrooms offers a king size bed with a TV so you can kick back and relax Additional storage is available via dresser and closet space! The other bedroom has a queen size bed, bedside table with a lamp and additional closet space.

Bathroom: The large bathroom has plenty of space to get ready. This bathroom does have shower/tub combo. One large bath towel and one wash cloth are provided per guest as well as make-up towels for convenience. There is a stackable washer and dryer in this large bathroom if you need to do a quick load of laundry while in town.

Living Room: Comfortably seats 6 guests for a movie or to watch a game on 55" smart TV. A desk/chair is also included in case you to set up shop for work. The home is connected with high speed WIFI for all your streaming needs.

Backyard/Deck: Fully fenced backyard to meet needs if you are traveling with a pet. *Dog bags are provided, please clean up after your pet* Prior host approval prior to bringing an animal.

Back deck offers outdoor seating for a nice evening on the patio!

Uber and Lyft are great options if you want to park your car and enjoy the city. The KC streetcar has stops all throughout downtown Kansas City, the first stop is right at Union Station.

This protection plan is $45 for all stays under 29 nights, and is included in the cost of your booking. Stays 30-59 nights will be required to pay an additional insurance premium of $305 directly on our website. Stays longer than 59 nights will be separately charged for damage protection extension at the rate of $130/30 days. Please note, guest screening is also required for any bookings made through VRBO or direct. Once your booking is confirmed, you will be contacted by Safely to complete an identity verification before your reservation date for any direct or VRBO bookings.

*PARTIES - All gatherings must be limited to 6, this is monitored and guests violating this rule will be charged a mandatory $700 fine. NO EVENTS OR PARTIES ARE ALLOWED.

*PETS - We do allow pets with host approval. If you are planning on bringing a pet please notify us once you complete your booking. There is a $75 fee for one pet or $100 for two that is collected once the booking is confirmed and paid in full. Contact us for questions. (Guests are required to pick up after their pet, host provides dog bag stations.) Backyard is fully fenced. There is a $500 fine for any unauthorized pets.

No parking on site but there is free off street parking.

*CANCELLATION POLICY - Guests can receive a full refund minus processing fees (approximately 4%) if they cancel up to 5 days before check in. No refund will be provided if cancelling less than 5 days before check in.
