THE HISTORY
Originally settled in 1831 by Reverend Isaac McCoy, Westport predates Kansas City itself. His son, John Calvin McCoy – known as the "father of Kansas City" – helped establish nearby "Westport’s Landing," which eventually evolved into the Town of Kansas. In the mid-1800s, Westport flourished as a key outfitter for pioneers headed west along the Oregon, California, Santa Fe, and Lewis & Clark Trails. Though the neighborhood was annexed by Kansas City in 1897, it has held tight to its historic roots and independent spirit ever since.

Third Floor Sleeping Loft:
Perfect for extra guests or adventurous sleepers! This fun, open loft space includes a full-size bed and a large bean bag chair (not pictured). While it doesn’t have central HVAC, a window unit keeps the space comfortable year-round. Best suited for two adults and one child.
Basement Game Room + Bonus Suite:
Accessed via a staircase off the kitchen, the lower level is a playful retreat with foosball, Pac-Man, darts, and wall games. It also includes a queen bed, full bathroom, and a kitchenette with a full-sized refrigerator – a fun and functional hangout zone for your crew.

*QUIET HOURS - at Westport Oasis begin at 10PM-7:30 AM on weeknights and 11PM-7:30AM on weekends. Guest must be willing to refrain from using the hot tub, outside socializing and music during quiet hours to comply with KC residential noise ordinance laws & to avoid waking our sleeping neighbors.
*PETS - We do allow pets with host approval. If you are planning on bringing a pet please notify us once you complete your booking. There is a $75 fee for one pet or $100 for two that is collected once the booking is confirmed and paid in full. (Guests are required to pick up after their pet, host provides dog bag stations.) The backyard is fenced for those furry companions! There is a $500 fine for any unauthorized pets.
