Get away from the hustle and bustle of the valley in this newly remodeled cabin 14 miles NE of Payson. Enjoy a peaceful morning coffee outside on the deck or an evening campfire under the stars (if restrictions allow). Includes a fully functional kitchen with an induction stove top, ninja toaster oven, Nespresso machine, gas grill, and all your pots/pans/dishes/table wear. Take advantage of the endless trails around you and end the day with a relaxing soak in the outdoor shower.
NOTE: Please be aware that there is a long set of stairs to the cabin. The stairs are sturdy with a railing on one side, but might be tough to climb for those with mobility issues. The house is a short walk to the East Verde river which can be heard flowing from the front porch on a quiet evening.
Some other things to note:
WIFI: Due to the remote area, wifi speeds are limited to 1.5Mbps.
PETS: Although we love our furry friends, no animals or pets of any kind will be allowed on the premises.
VEHICLES: Two vehicles fit well in the driveway. Three takes some maneuvering so be prepared for that. No more than three cars will fit in the driveway and unfortunately there are no other places to park personal vehicles.
NEIGHBOORHOOD: The neighborhood is a close knit community that enjoys peaceful weekends. Please respect the neighbors and keep noise to a minimum during your stay.

We had such a nice stay! The place was clean and inviting, and we had everything we needed. We were lucky enough to get a snow storm the first night, and it was so amazing to be able to look out and see the beauty of everything blanketed in snow while we enjoyed the cozy and warm inside! I would totally go back again…and again.
We had the best time celebrating our anniversary with friends. The house is perfect 4 people. Beautiful neighborhood.Lots of trails nearby for off roading. Very relaxing. The cabin came equipped with everything that we needed. Beds were very comfortable.
This little cozy cabin is somewhat remote. We loved having such quiet (no neighbors) and clean, crisp air to breathe. It is surrounded by tons of pine trees. The cabin itself is kept very clean and has all the amenities we needed. We would love to return for another romantic getaway.
The cabin exceeded our expectations for our weekend getaway! The kitchenette was stocked with pretty much everything we could need, the furniture and bed was comfortable. The outdoor firepits and seating areas were great, especially with the hanging lights. We had no issues with Wi-Fi. Great location and definitely a great place to stay.
It was a great place to stay. Up on a hillside, nice view out the windows. Nice quiet neighborhood. Inside it has a comfortable set up. Outdoors has patio out front, a wood firepit and a gas firepit table, very relaxing. Only a 1 1/2 miles from Washington Park trail. Very relaxing, just what I was looking for.
A lovely, clean home with responsive owner and good management. The roads for about 5 miles, all directions, were gravel, so was not great for bicycling, at least for me, as paved is better for speed and distance, and butt comfort. Lots of elk in the area.
There were few people in the around (wintertime), but those we talked to seemed friendly.
My SO and I had a great stay at this cabin! The space looked and felt clean and the bed was pretty comfortable. We did have a little difficulty with adjusting the hot and cold taps in the shower, nothing too major though. My SO really liked the outdoor shower. We couldn't find a walking path to the creek, but this location is a short drive to the creek's recreation spots. Great spot for a cabin stay and creek play!
This is our second time to this property. The property itself is so quiet and comfortable, there are several places to sit and enjoy the trees. Great areas to walk and a beautiful creek. We rarely see a car on the road every time we walk in this neighborhood. Sylvia is an amazing host who communicates quickly - we will go back again, love this place!
what a wonderful weekend I had the cabin was everything I expected a cabin in the woods and that’s when I got although I didn’t get to use the outside fireplace because of the rain I’m not complaining your cabin is adorable and was just what I needed to be honest I really didn’t want to leave
Very responsive owner, easy transaction and accommodating. Well-stocked cabin walking distance from the river. We enjoyed our stay and loved the surrounding area. Only caveat is the poor Verizon signal but that didn’t break the deal for us as we wanted to unplug for a few days. Thanks Sylvia!

Why they chose this property
There is so much blood sweat and tears that went into this Cabin. I wanted to make it an oasis for those that are overstressed in this crazy world we live in.
