About this property

Fully Furnished 2 Bedroom Condo - Pet Friendly! 30 Day Minimum Stay Required.

Perfect accommodations for an extended vacation, temporary relocation while in housing transitions or while working the refinery turnaround. Condo is one mile from historic downtown Lynden and only 45 minutes to Vancouver, British Columbia! You will enjoy a fully-equipped two bedroom condominium, with full kitchen, full bath, living room with fireplace, TV, DVD & VCR player, dish washer, and washer and dryer. Step out of the bedroom or living room into an oversize balcony to enjoy the breathtaking view of the majestic Canadian Rockies and Mt Baker.

Lynden History: Perched above the fertile Nooksack Valley with a view of Mt. Baker to the east, the Lynden area was first settled by miners who had passed through the area en route to the Caribou Gold Rush in 1858.

One of the first settlers was Colonel William Patterson, who homesteaded near the present-day downtown Lynden and the Nooksack River. In 1871, Lynden pioneers Holden and Phoebe Judson settled in Lynden, arriving via the Nooksack River by canoe with an Indian guide. They found a heavily wooded area with a Native American settlement along the creek, the area where the City Park is now located. Originally from Ohio, the Judsons traveled west as a newly married couple 'in search of an ideal home'.

Lynden's History Museum: 'The value of history... is that it teaches us what man has done and thus what man is.' R.G. Collingwood

The best destination for those wishing to explore the history of the Pacific Northwest, The Lynden Pioneer Museum began in 1976 as an American Bicentennial Project. The museum centers around the Fred Polinder Buggy Collection, a collection of 49 unique horse drawn vehicles, the largest publicly displayed collection west of the Mississippi. Amidst America’s Bicentennial celebration a hue and cry arose among the community to establish a museum and preserve this wonderful collection. Thus was born the Lynden Pioneer Museum. Housed in a historic building built in 1911 it immediately became a destination.

Lighted Christmas Parade - First Saturday in December: Lynden’s annual holiday celebration begins at 6:00pm with the beloved Lighted Christmas Parade, where visitors are treated to holiday carolers & a dazzling display of lighted trucks, cars, floats, wagons, farm equipment, & more! The procession starts at Fairway Center and travels along Front Street throughout downtown Lynden.
In addition, don’t forget to take a tour of unique light displays & decorated storefronts throughout the city during Lynden in Lights! Illuminated designs (Nativity sets, Dutch children, poinsettias, windmills, & more) shine brightly throughout the holiday season for all to see!

Nice quiet place
Our stay met most of our needs, but was marred by how dirty everything was; ie carpet, dishes, utensils, stove, washer, dryer, shower curtain and vacuum cleaner clogged no suction.

Lynden Homestead Condo
Nice condo with a good view of the golf course. Quiet overall with fun neighbors downstairs who were interested in our home search and what we did. Johnny was entertaining! And the availability of fresh corn and berries was amazing.

Comfortable Condo in Beautiful Location
We truly enjoyed our week at this condo. It suited our needs perfectly, being centrally located for visits to Bellingham, Seattle, Vancouver, B.C., and the San Juan Islands. Lynden is a quiet, picturesque, farming town where the residents appear to take great pride in their homes and their environs. Everything is neat and orderly, in good Dutch fashion. :) We enjoyed escaping to the town's solitude after long days of site-seeing. The condo contained everything we needed to make simple meals, which saved us money in dining-out costs. The fireplace was a welcomed feature during the damp, chilly March evenings. The condo can sleep six, but it would be cramped--our family of four was a perfect fit. Cable and Wifi service were reliable. The ability to wash clothes at the condo and come home with clean clothes was a bonus (no additional work to do when we got home!) We would definitely stay at this condo again.

Incredible Condo in the Middle of Paradise
My wife and I have spent six weeks here in August-September. Everything about the condo and its location are absolutely top notch. The unit is just as it appears in the website photos. Furniture is all very modern and comfortable. The kitchen is fully furnished. If you want to do any specialized cooking you may want to bring those utensils with you. We wanted to pick berries and do some canning so we brought that equipment with us. Otherwise, the kitchen has everything you will need. The condo is right on one of the fairways of the golf course. Being just four miles south of Canada the mountains just across the border are visible from the vicinity as is Mt. Baker to the east of Lynden. One of the delightful things about this location is the presence during this time of year of geese and ducks right outside the living room and bedroom windows which are on the very wide balcony. You have use of the resort gym and pool areas which are very modern, well maintained and staffed and are within a few minutes walk. Within minutes you have four entry points into Canada. The ferry over to Vancouver Island is just down at Anacortes. Mt. Baker is an easy day-trip. This is very close to the Nooksack and Skagit rivers in Washington and the Frazier in Canada for fishing. Points of interest in SW British Columbia are close enough for one or two day drives, like the city of Vancouver, Whistler ( site of the 2010 Winter Olympics ), and Vancouver Island. The condo management is always available for assistance. The is no key for the mailbox so I made arrangements with the Lynden postoffice, which is just down the street, to hold our mail so I was able to pick it up there. The area is very quiet. Lynden is a friendly community where the homes, lawns, commercial buildings, and farms are all well maintianed and very picturesque. You will be totally thrilled with both the condo unit itself and the surrounding area.
