Fully furnished, large front & backyard, 4 bedrooms, 2.50 baths, jacuzzi tub in master room, living room, dining room, full size kitchen, breakfast bar, washer/dryer, family room, covered front porch. Great place!

Plenty of room for everyone. Loved grilling out and enjoying the patio! Well stocked kitchen and plenty of towels. Very clean!

Great place for college roommate reunion

This property allowed us to easily have 7 people stay. We had a wonderful time visiting whether in the living room playing games or watching a TV program or in the kitchen area around the bar. The host was fantastic!

Wasilla wedding visit

Nice home. Darkening curtains in front upstairs bedrooms would have been very helpful for hours of light. Did not have full set of dishes. We bought paper plates to make meals easier. Bird crap on outdoor table, chairs, and barbecuer not appealing. It’s going to happen but would have been nice if not there when we arrived. Beds were comfortable. House was clean.

Denali Layover

Our family used this property to get acclimated with the Anchorage area before heading up to Denali National Park. It was clean, well maintained, and the perfect size for a family of 6. We enjoyed many of the hiking and outdoor adventures around the Wasilla area. The owner was easy to communicate with. Thank you.

Big house in a Quiet Neighborhood

The house was clean and had more than enough room for everyone to have their own space. The yard is huge, the kitchen is well stocked with all the cooking utensils you need, and the owner is very responsive to any questions you have. 10/10 would stay here again!

Denali stopover

Stayed at the house for one night during our families Alaska vacation, while traveling from Denali to Whittier. The house had everyone we needed and check in was simple (a keypad). We had no issue and grilled burgers and relaxed on the deck with a few nightcaps in the evening. Highly recommended if staying in the area. Thanks for sharing. Jim

It was exactly what we were looking for

Celebrating with some friends who didn’t make it to our wedding. Music, games, hanging out, food etc. Comfy, clean, lots of space, nice outdoor area too. It was definitely hot, but closing the curtains on the backside of the house helped remedy that. Not very many mosquitoes either which is nice. Lots of comfy seating too! Definitely a nice set up!

Loved the space and location

A few hiccups along the way, door code was given but separate door handle was locked when arrived at 3:00 am. Other than the lack of supplies; toilet paper (only 1 per bathroom) for a 7 day stay for 6 adults. We had to go out and buy toilet paper and paper towel. Other than that we loved the house, the space and the location. Had a few moose in the backyard and woods area. Very convenient for what we needed.

Nice place.

Everything was good but would have been nice to have instructions for checkin-checkout at the house we weren’t able to read them online, also had to go buy our own TP only a roll per bathroom. We saw moose in the yard 3 times that week was the best part!!!

A Delightful Stay in an Authentic Alaskan Getaway: Memorable Moments and Convenient Amenities

Our family of five had an absolutely delightful stay! Despite my initial reservations due to the limited number of reviews, I am thrilled that we decided to take a chance because this place exceeded our expectations. The house exuded a cozy warmth and was thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed. It provided ample space and was impeccably clean. Harriett, the host, was excellent in her communication and made our experience even more enjoyable. One of the highlights was undoubtedly the location of the house. While we were about an hour outside of Anchorage, we specifically sought an authentic Alaskan atmosphere for our vacation, and this house delivered exactly that. We were treated to the incredible sight of a moose approaching the window and curiously peering into the house while it grazed outside. Moreover, the proximity to hiking and fishing spots made it convenient for us to indulge in these activities without lengthy commutes. Additionally, having a gas station and a grocery store within a couple of miles was highly convenient and greatly appreciated. If you're seeking a memorable vacation away from the city while still having access to necessary amenities, look no further than this remarkable house!

Great place to stay

The house was great and perfect for the six of us. The kids enjoyed the jar of snacks on the counter. Thank You, that was a nice touch. We especially liked that the house was warm when we checked in. Other places have been cold. Nice to walk into a warm home during the winter. Definitely recommend staying here. We will look at renting this again in the future when we need to stay near Wasilla.
