Friendly and Comfortable
We were very fortunate to find such a nice clean and comfortable villa at short notice.
Situated 1000m above sea level the journey to it added to the overall pleasure of the stay. The scenic route to the Villa from Malaga is by far the best way to go.
Our hosts were both charming and very helpful. Nothing seemed too much trouble. Our privacy was respected but Michael in particular was always on hand if we needed any advice / assistance. He even offered his services as a tour guide if required it and volunteered to do a bit of shopping for essentials !
The villa was more than met our requirements and we found it very comfortable.
Our hire car was parked on the premises, conveniently right next to the accommodation. Actually getting it through the gate is an experience but Michael was there to offer his assistance.
Externally, the grounds are secluded and well maintained. The pool is spacious and is in full sunlight all day which for us was perfect. A nice shaded patio area situated poolside is an ideal place to eat throughout the day and in the evening.
We were able to sample some home grown fruit and vegetables and very nice they were too.
The property is situated on the edge of a village which has a small supermarket, bakery and bar so we didn't have to travel anywhere as all our needs were catered for locally and it's only a short walk away.
The villa is situated on a road that only leads to a few properties and a picnic area so very little traffic. It is in an agricultural area and being on the edge of the village, there is the occasional cockerel crowing and the odd dog bark but nothing too intrusive.
Overall, a very pleasant stay in pleasant comfortable surroundings with informative friendly hosts. Well worth a visit.
