We had a great stay, and it was perfect for our family of 9.
The online description was right-on. Loved having the pontoon boat, just wish there had been a tube to hook onto boat. We borrowed one and the kids loved it.
Had dinner at Stacy's and Fat Cams. Both places were good.
Really good/quick responses from Brooke.
Looking forward to next year!
Family of 10 visited 7/24.The whole house generator was a much needed addition due to bad storms. House has comfortable beds and bedding. Plenty of linens and beach towels too.House was clean and decor was very nice. The beverage coolers were appreciated. Great response from owner for questions and problem solving.Boat was added experience for all.
We had many family members from around the country join for an early celebration of a 50th birthday. The place was great and the use of the pontoon was a real plus. A few minor issues popped up but the manager was very responsive! It's a great place that you are sure to enjoy.
This cottage is exactly as depicted in the pictures. The lake is a perfect size for kayaking, taking a pontoon ride and swimming right off the sea wall. The neighbors were friendly and helpful. There is a Dollar General within walking distance and great restaurants in Edwardsburg, Granger and Elkhart. We loved this property so much we reserved it again next summer half way through the week of our stay!
This house has beautiful updates and a great location, yard and lake frontage. They provide many of the amenities and the check-in paperwork was clear and concise. The property manager was quick to respond to questions. The only thing is like to see change is for them to have a recycling bin with the garbage bins!
It was a great vacation.
As soon as we walked into this home we we're elated to see that everything matched the photos. Doesn't always happen. The place was very clean and the furniture was newer. We enjoyed boat rides and the fire pit. And it was so nice that all four bedrooms have their own bathroom. Hoping to rent it again next summer.
We have used this property a number of times for both business and family retreats. It's works out incredible each time regardless of the needs we have had. The house is newly remodeled and has a very fresh feel to it. It is a "turn key" property with the boat and provisioning items that can be added to cater to you needs. Highly recommend this property for all needs!!!
This house was absolutely beautiful!! Our family spent Labor Day weekend here and it had everything we needed! There was plenty of space for everyone, house was close to the water, lake was perfect for kayaking or taking the pontoon boat out. The neighbors were very sweet and friendly as well letting us know about the fireworks and an 80s live music at the sandbar. The place was very clean and well up to date. Only issue we had was the A/C was not registering correctly on the second day. Luckily it was cool the next day so it wasn't as bad. Defiantly would suggest having screens on the windows as an option to open them so bugs don't get in. Other than that minor issue which really wasn't awful, we would come back again with the family and recommend to people!
The place was much nicer than we anticipated. The kitchen is spacious and was perfect for cooking family meals together in lieu of going out due to covid. The televisions were also very nice and the lakeside location was nice, even in the winter.
We were so happy that we decided to stay at this property! From the moment we walked in we were greeted by a clean home and well decorated/maintained property. There was a welcoming fragrance and seasonal decorations on the tables and other common areas of the house (which we loved). Great attention to detail. The walkway to the front door from the parking area and then to the area down to the lakefront were all well lit. The beds were super comfortable and it was perfect for our group of 8. It was nice to have the lower level and upstairs sitting areas too. There were plenty of restaurants and shopping centers in the nearby area which was nice. We did not use the kitchen but it was well stocked with every kind of pot, pan, dish, and kitchen tool the guests would need. I could go on and on about the property as it had so many nice things about it! We will for sure be back for future stays.
The property and location for our needs was perfect. The property is more incredible than pictures. We had three adult couples and 1 teen. Everyone had their own space and restroom/shower. The management company was very responsive to some heating issues (I think we were the first to stay in the renovated property in winter). Only recommendation would be to have lights on the garage so the house numbers are visible at night. You will not be disappointed.
The home was absolutely amazing! The home was very clean and there was not a bad bed in the home as all the mattresses were newer. The layout of the home, bonfire, and access to pontoon made the experience worth while. We ran out of propane and the manager, Jesse, was there to switch it out for a new full tank within five minutes. Jesse went above and beyond to connecting us with someone in town who we purchased a decent amount of firewood. You really can not ask for more.
What a wonderful time in a truly remarkable home. So many things we loved about this property, the view, spacious accommodations with a cozy feel, furnishings and on and on. We liked it so much we’ve already rebooked.
The house is gorgeous, so tastefully decorated, all in working order. Deck with dining table, fire pit, dock and boat all so well maintained, so comfortable and functional. Property manager available in minutes. This could not be a more lovely home in which to vacation!
We had a fantastic six night stay on Eagle Lake in this fully renovated property. This home is beautifully decorated with every amenity you could ask for. The lot provides an expansive view of the lake and we enjoyed the beautiful sunrises each morning. The home is spacious and open but also provides plenty of privacy including baths for each bedroom. We enjoyed the fire pit and kayaks and had access to a pontoon boat as well. Five star review!!
We stayed 18 days and had a wonderful time. James was very responsive to any questions we had.. We were a family of 6 adults and 4 small children and had plenty of room. The home was spotless and all new!.
Wow! What an experience! The house was brand new and immaculate! We appreciated having six seats at the dinner table and four at the counter. We even ate at the patio table outside. The kitchen was roomy and had plenty of space to store the food we brought and prepare our meals.
The bedrooms were great. Having so many bathrooms worked out nice, as one was unintentionally 'assigned' to each family/bedroom. The bunk beds upstairs worked out perfect for our four kids.
The outdoor space was beautiful. There was plenty of wood left for us and the kind neighbors even offered their wood if we went through what was left. We didn't mind going out to get our own wood if needed, but it was so wonderful having what we needed right there.
We sure enjoyed the water. There were multiple kayaks and a smaller stand up paddle board. We used the boats and there were plenty of life jackets there. We boated out to the one side and anchored in the sandy area. We loved boating around the lake and checking out all of the different homes. The guys in our group wished they had better luck with fishing, but they had fun trying.
We were the second renters ever at this home. We messaged the owner and asked for a few things (detergent, a broom) and he was over within a half-hour to bring them. He was extremely attentive.
It was awesome having a washer and dryer on site. We kept up with washing the (many!) beach towels provided and often threw in the kitchen towels so we didn't have to leave that job for the house cleaner after.
The kids had a blast driving golf carts, playing soccer golf and eating ice cream at Diamond Lake golf course nearby. We ordered carry-out pizza from the closest pizza place and it was just okay.
We couldn't have asked for a better experience!
Outstanding property! Beautifully decorated newly renovated home. Stunning lake views. Hosts were very gracious and responsive to any questions or needs. Highly recommend.
This is a wonderful newly gutted home in a great location. Beautifully and thoughtfully decorated with everything you would expect and so much more.
James was attentive and kind and easy to work with.
The beds and couches are so comfy and there are tons of extras like fluffy blankets and nice beach towels.
2 bar areas in the house and a very nice fire pit as well as a grill and great views from the porch.
The pontoon was clean and quite new looking as well. We loved the clean quiet lake and used it multiple times each day.
Everything is so well stocked. Seriously amazing.
Thanks for having us!!
