Absolutely loved our stay! Gorgeous lawns overlooking the water, fire pits, sea kayaks, volleyball court, picnic tables, lawn chairs, dog friendly - they have it all there for your lake cabin experience!
Immensely Enjoyed kayaking and SUP right from the property. Compact cabin but had everything that was needed. Loved family time, and inner tubing down the river out front.
Loved our stay here! Property was a little remote but as long as you're aware of the drive times to Durango and surrounding areas it's no big deal. Clean, completely stocked with everything we needed to enjoy a week away from home. I cooked a lot and the cabin had all the utensils etc plus two grills for our use. My kids had a blast playing with other kids at the little play areas, and with the outdoor game sets the cabins offered. We also made use of the free kayak and paddle boards in the gorgeous lake. Fishing, relaxing, bonfires and starry skies... Really could not have asked for more! Great hosts as well. Definetely recommend as long as you can unplug from tech (spotty WiFi and no cable) but if you can, great family destination!
Very little internet and very few neighbors, which was fine..but the one group of neighbors we had wanted to talk outside, and loud, late into the night. One restaurant near the cabin, closed on Tuesdays. Be prepared to drive into Durango for a meal if you did not pack your own. Might sound like I'm complaining but other than the neighbors, I am not. Definitely will go back.
