The house was perfect for my husband and I, as we were participating in the Mackinac Bridge Antique Tractor crossing. The location could not have been better! A beautiful house, very clean, with everything we needed.
We really enjoyed our short stay! The house was exactly as advertised and more. Very well appointed. It was easy to find and a great home base for us to explore the Island and a quick visit to dip our toes in the water at Straits State Park. Our kids loved the backyard, the games on hand, and the Peppa Pig trash can in their room :)
Easy walk to every thing. The house was very cozy and clean. We really enjoyed our stay. I’m giving a 4 for accuracy of online listing because the bedroom with the queen mattress was not comfortable for overnight use. It’s ok as a daybed and den (light comes in through the light curtains and the mattress is too soft), We were able to use the other two bedrooms for overnight use just fine for our three travelers.
Worked great for us and our daughter’s family. With two young children a hotel is tough for any length of time. Very nice fenced back yard to play.
Easy walking to downtown, city playground and library just down the street. Our biggest issue was having only one bathroom with a potty training toddler. Always seems to need the bathroom when it is busy.
It was very cozy and comfortable for our family of 5. House was easy to find and conveniently located to downtown. Was clean and had everything we needed. Host was always quick to respond. Would stay again!
Loved our stay! House was clean and comfortable. Yard and gardens beautiful! Bed was comfortable. House was a perfect place to stay for our trip to Mackinaw island
Great location. Clean. Comfortable beds. Plenty of towels, kitchen supplies. Nice backyard to enjoy. Well kept. A few essentials like paper towels, dish soap, hand soap, etc
I always bring my own travel fan for noise, but each room had a fan and extra blanket. Sofa was nice and comfortable as well. One of the nicest VRBOs that I’ve stayed in.
Stayed here during the port Huron to Mackinac race, perfect location close to the ferry. Clean house with all the amenities. Great communication from host.
Brought my 3 young kids up for the 4th of July and Mackinac Island. The house was clean and stocked with the necessities. Back yard was nice to let the kids burn off some energy after a long drive. Short drive to everything (1-2 min)…restaurants, grocery store, ferry dock. All in all a great trip and didn’t break the bank for a single mom. Will definitely be back!
This property was within walking distance to the car show which is why we were here, so that was super convenient! There was a TV in every bedroom which was very nice. The property was very clean and had a wonderful washer and dryer for us to use. The house was obviously updated and easy to get to. The back deck had a great table and chairs for outdoor seating for 6 which was needed since there was only a pub table inside with seating for 4. The only improvement may have been a fire ring in the backyard. The backyard is beautiful otherwise, and we had no trouble with bugs while we were outside! We would have stayed here again next year, but it was unavailable already for the car show next year.
The house worked out beautifully for our Eastern UP vacation. Very close to the bridge, US 2 and I75. House was clean and well organized. The back deck and yard was great for winding down and the end of the day. Owner was responsive and accommodating. Would definitely stay here again.
Great place to stay if you want to visit Mackinac and don’t want to stay right on the island. Very clean and comfortable. A small park right on waters edge only a couple of blocks away for the kiddos. Very thoughtful hostess. Good communication. Would definitely stay there again.
We were very impressed with the St.Ignace home. It was immaculately clean, comfortable, up-to-date and in a quiet area. It also has a very large backyard. Instructions for check-in and check-out were very easy. Although you may have to drive to the ferry docks for Mackinac Island, we found the location to be easily accessible to the local grocery store, restaurants, 1-75 freeway to head north and downtown. We walked to the ferry docks and downtown restaurants but it might be difficult for someone with mobility issues. Our family thoroughly enjoyed the house and would definitely return if in the area.
We enjoyed our stay very much. We were able to do our laundry, play games, watch the channels we enjoyed, make coffee, and cook pizzas. The kitchen & bathroom were clean and well stocked. We will definitely stay there again next year!
None of us had ever been to Michigan so everything was new. When we arrived at the house, which was very easy to find, we turned around and had a nice little view of Lake Huron, from the quiet street. The house was the perfect size. Very clean and Stacy left a book with clears directions on everything we needed. The back yard was lovely but we didn't have time to sit and enjoy it. Stacy was very responsive to my questions. Loved it so much I ask if she'd sell it. Already planning our next visit. So very much to see in Michigan! Thank you for being such a great hostess.
My oldest nieces and I were there as girlfriends and family to celebrate a retirement. The little house is perfect and the location is excellent for Mackinac Island and anything you want to do.
This place was perfect for our weekend trip. Close to the downtown area as well as the bridge for our annual bridge walk. House was clean and located in a quiet neighborhood. Owner was easy to reach and responded quickly. Check in was easy. Overall, the house was exactly as described. Would book again.
