Off-Grid...In Style!

This was the perfect weekend getaway for my husband and me. We were able to disconnect from the world - TV, emails, phones, etc. - and reconnect with each other. The Big Tiny is clean and comfortable - all the basic comforts and no fluff. The hiking and fishing and views from the property are incredible! Getting to the place was super easy and our host was very responsive when we had some minor issues. We will definitely book again!

Interesting and off grid

Seems like a well kept refuge, was out there during a hot period of time which was challenging. But there was no expectation of air conditioned provisions. It was good to see the stars again. Learned a bit about power consumption.

Colorado

The cabin was difficult to find because we wanted seclusion and of course gps gets spotty in the mountains. Once we arrived we were in awe! It was absolutely beautiful with a great location! It runs off solar power which we knew nothing about but the manager responded immediately and now it’s something we’re looking into for our house! I highly recommend this place! 20 min from rafting, zipplining and food. The cabin also includes all amenities so you can save money and just enjoy your company as well!!!

Anniversary trip gone haywire

We booked this cute cabin with plans to go visit friends & see some sights. That all went out the window when we got about 20” of snow! We couldn’t have asked for a better place to be snowed in! The house extremely well insulated so the propane heater & fireplace kept us warm. Luckily, we brought food. The propane stove & well supplied kitchen were perfect for us to fix our meals. The cabin also had books, DVDs, cards, & a Backgammon set for entertainment. Overall 10/10! Would highly recommend snowed in or not!

I built this cabin to allow others enjoy what I worked so hard for. Being in a peaceful setting but having all the fun adventures within 45 minutes of you to get back to enjoying life at a reasonable cost!
***I've decided to make this home a dry-cabin for this summer, so if you want have water for flushing, or washing dishes you must now supply your own water. I normally bring a few 6 gallon totes. You can fill up water at the river. For showers I recommend using one of the hot springs or take a dip in the river!

Why they chose this property

Enjoy the outdoor lifestyle within 2.5-3 hrs of Denver, Colorado!

What makes this property unique

Great local attractions to keep you busy for many days, along with a peaceful serenity of the mountains! Even though your in the mountain you pretty much want what ever uses the AT&T network to be able to communicate out here. Verizon does get service on the Mac Donnell and Iron Mountain Rd connect.
