The property is a self-contained cottage, located at the scenic west end of Bermuda, very close to the historic Royal Naval Dockyard. Quaint Somerset Village with its bars, restaurants, and shops are within walking distance, as are the calmer beaches of Mangrove Bay and Somerset Long Bay.

The property is situated on the waters of the Great Sound and there is dock complete with chaise lounges, tables and chairs for guest use. The property also has access to a small private beach very close by.

The location is very convenient for transport as the bus and ferry stops are just steps away. The stunning South Shore Beaches are a short bus ride away.

Great trip to Bermuda

Good place right on the water, next to the ferry to Hamilton and walking distance to some beaches. Great for a short trip to get some beach time and see a few of the sites on the island. Place was clean except for dirty floor. Sports club nearby that was advertised appeared closed.

Hidden Gem

The cottage was absolutely perfect. Beds were comfy, kitchen well stocked, perfect location with amazing views. The cottage location was close to bus and ferry service. Several restaurants were within walking distance. We ordered groceries before our arrival, Christine picked them up and had them at the cottage prior to our arrival. Christine was a lovely host. I plan to return with my husband.

PERFECT location

We spent most of our 4 days lounging around the patio and dock, swimming, snorkeling and fishing. The view is so beautiful. We saw tons of sea life and enjoyed watching the boats and people. Christine and family were lovely and helpful. Such a bonus to have our groceries delivered by Christine. Such a fun and relaxing vacation. Thank you so much!

Great little oasis in Bermuda's west end

This is a great little spot, perfect for four people. The best snorkeling of our trip was right off the dock and our boat tour captain dropped us off at the cottage so we wouldn't have to bother with a taxi back to the property! The convenience was awesome. The kitchen and breakfast bar suited our needs and between the porch and the little deck, we had all the outdoor space we could want. Christine was so nice and thoughtful and the property was clean and neat for our arrival. Would highly recommend.

Stunning views!

Even though the rental could use a bit of a facelift, we still had to give it 5 stars. Firstly, Christine is amazing! She’s responsive, helpful and gave us our space. She even picked up our grocery order before we arrived for us so we had food in the house! At one point we couldn’t get the TV to stream, so she brought over HER own for us to use for the week! The views were incredible. The views from the property are gorgeous- and the private beach just across the street was wonderful The ferry and bus are steps away, making it easy to get around. We had a serene and enjoyable stay.

Lovely stay with a great view

Transport links are great for both the bus and ferry. Bedrooms large and very comfortable with a lovely view from both the patio and upstairs balcony. A few minor maintenance updates needed but didn’t impact our stay. Christine was a lovely host and very responsive, would recommend this property.

We had a great time at Christine's place. The place was well taken care of and had everything that we needed. We loved the breathtaking views from our place. We loved the little beach across the street, private and very convenient to the property. The location was perfect for guests using buses in Bermuda, as well ferry. Overall, we were very satisfied with the house.

We enjoyed our stay and the host was very accommodating. She greeted us on arrival and was easy to contact during the stay. Great location with easy access to beaches, buses, ferries and snorkeling right off the dock, that we throughly enjoyed.

The views!!!!

Perfect sized two story home that provided space for our family of four. The views were stunning and we enjoyed the lanai with covered sectional overlooking the water. The dock and access to our own Snorkel area were amazing. Location in Somerset and access to private beaches was incredible. Easy to get to the dockyard. The only negative of this property was it was outdated - needs some remodel but the price was on point and worth the views and layout of home. Bermuda always surpasses our expectations! We will be back ! Thank u Christine.

We had an excellent stay

1) great having our own small beach and excellent private dock; terrace great with views. 2) rooms were fine, ac excellent 3) host very helpful and accommodating 4) only drawback: kitchen poorly supplied with basic utensils. Since we cooked in each night, this was a negative.

Great location

The home is right on the water. We swam off of the private dock and also enjoyed the private beach across the street. Great location 2 miles from the dockyard-Christine was very accommodating and we loved our vacation-will definitely rent again!!!

Overall good place and location

Our family of 4 (2 adults and 2 young children) enjoyed our stay. Easy access to Dockyard, Somerset and Horseshoe Bay by scooter or bus. Ocean swimming off the dock at the back of the house. Kitten cookware and utensils were all fine. Some repairs needed to faucets and light fixtures but manageable.

Right on the water

The location was beautiful and Christine was a wonderful host. I was unaware of the quarantine restrictions and she offered to pick up groceries for us, the beer was greatly appreciated! She was also very responsive to all of our questions. The location is right by a ferry and bus stop and a few good restaurants in walking distance

Beautiful Views!

We visited for a wedding at nearby Cambridge Beaches and this location was perfect. Though there was a little bit of a walk in between, we enjoyed walking from the condo to the resort all weekend. Bermuda requires visitors to be tested for COVID upon arrival at the airport and you are not allowed to leave your residence until your results are returned. Ours didn’t arrive until midnight, so we would have been bored and cooped up in a hotel room… but this rental has access to a private beach and dock on the water where we were able to sit and enjoy the beautiful scenery and ocean breeze. It was lovely! Christine was also easy to get in touch with and very helpful, which is really important when you’re in a country you’ve never visited before. 👍🏻

Perfect location

Amazing Staycation

My family was very pleased with our stay, and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for comfortable and beautiful place. The view was gorgeous, and access to the clear water was very easy. My husband enjoyed fishing and my kids enjoyed swimming here very much!

Beautiful and relaxing stay

We had such a wonderful time at Christine's cottage. There were 5 of us and we had plenty of space. The view from the terrace and the lap of the water were incredibly relaxing. And we caught the bus right outside for excursions all around the islands every day.

Beautiful!

Awesome! The property is beautiful, comfortable and perfectly located. The bus and ferry stops are literally steps away. No need to rent scooters or mini cars - Take the bus! We spent every morning and afternoon on the peaceful dock just below the house. So tranquil and relaxing. I've been all over the Caribbean and Bermuda is by far the cleanest, friendliest place I've been. Can't wait to go back. Christine was very helpful and attentive to our needs without being intrusive at all. Thank You Christine. We hope to see you again ...

Super visit once again to Beautiful Somerset

Another wonderful visit. The accommodations are perfect. Beautiful location close to the village and transportation yet wonderfully private. The kitchen makes it possible to eat in knowing that many wonderful restaurants are either a walk or a short bus/ferry ride away. The ferry to Hamilton stops just steps away as does the bus to the beaches, Dock Yard and the rest of the island. A few days we simply stayed at our Bermuda home, grilled out and went swimming off the dock below the house as well as the private beech across the street. A super location! We'll be back soon!!
