We stayed here for JMU Family Weekend. It's approx 25 min drive from campus. The property was amazing and had everything you needed. The host is easy to communicate with and made sure our stay was great!
We had a wonderful time in this gorgeous cabin! Didn't want to leave! The property is amazing!
The Bear Villa was amazing! My family had a wonderful time! The host was amazing. We enjoyed every second we were there and hope to return! You won't regret staying in this AMAZING home!
We rented this lovely house for our daughter’s graduation from JMU. Plenty of space for everyone and not far (about 20 minutes) from Harrisonburg. Would highly recommend if you are looking for a place to get away!
We had a lovely time at Bear Villa with a group of friends to celebrate my 50th birthday.
The cabin was very rustic but modern, well decorated, and the owner had taken care to label various cabinets and light switches.
The out door space was great. There was a lovely fire pit area and a picnic area with a big grill.
Highly recommend
This is a spacious home on a meticulously landscaped property. The setting is beautiful and we listened to the birds sing and owl hooting as we sat on the deck.
Our family had a lovely stay at this home. The kids loved all the bear themed items including the bear, named "Baloo!". He kept watch over us as he is perched on one of the rafters. The fire pit was a hit and worked well for smore's. I highly recommend.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this property to others. The cabin is beautiful inside and out. There are nice areas outside such as the fire pit and picnic areas. The kitchen was very well stocked and we had everything we needed and more. The decor was adorable especially since it’s a log cabin and there are decorative bears everywhere. There were tons of movies and a pool table. The linens were very nice and some of the rooms had white noise machines. The drive to campus was about 30 minutes. We were happily surprised that the host had decorated for Christmas. We felt so welcome.
