About the host
Hosted by Meghan Kirkpatrick
Your hosts at the Bark Eater are Meghan Kirkpatrick and Tyler Nichols. We have been apart of the revival of this iconic Inn since it changed ownership nearly a decade ago. After years of renovation, planning, and refinement, is was with great pride that we opened our doors in 2016. We took over the business in 2018 and began leasing the from the owners. We are so grateful for this incredible opportunity and have many visions we hope to bring forward in the coming years. It is our hope that we will be grow this business and maintain a place you that is your home away from home for many years to come.
We share a love of the outdoors, living closely with the land, and working with people. Meghan is an avid gardener, herbalist, hostess, cook, crafter, and nature educator. Tyler does it all and always with a smile. He's a handy man, land manager, cook, and an outdoor adventure enthusiast. We wear a lot of hats around here and love the diversity of our work and it's seasonal changes. Our other family members are Dude the Dog, Kvothe the Cat, and a couple dozed free range chickens. We love this place and our little family is so thrilled to share it with you!
