LOFTLORIEN- A magical, serene home-base for your Olympic Adventures

Welcome to Loftlorien- a private apartment located on a magical property, nestled in amongst the forest and foothills of the Olympic Mountains. Loftlorien is situated on 5 acres, half way between Sequim and Port Angeles. It is approximately 15 minutes to the beach, 10 minutes to the mountains, 20 minutes to the Olympic National Park, making this a perfect sanctuary for your adventures. The space is a completely private, upstairs* apartment with a wide open floor plan. It features high ceilings, mountain views, a well-stocked kitchen, window benches, in unit laundry, and even an arcade game! There is a large master bedroom, with French doors leading to a deck overlooking a small pond and a big mountain! In the huge living room, there is a day bed with trundle. The 2 window benches in Loftlorien could potentially serve as a cozy sleeping spot for a child. You are going to LOVE our amazing sunsets, abundant wildlife, and AWESOME star lit nights accompanied by a symphony of frogs.
The hosts live on the property and are available to help with your trip and your stay. However, you have your own driveway and fenced yard. Your deck features patio furniture, a gas grill, and a propane fire pit. We are within walking distance of exquisite DNR trails.
We know you are going to treasure your time at Loftlorien and on the stunning Olympic peninsula. We look forward to seeing you in Paradise.

Perfect Getaway Retreat!

This property was everything described & then more! Cozy with beautiful view from the dining nook. So beautiful to look at while having morning coffee/tea. We had no additional requests for our hosts as they had already thought of everything! Frig stocked with essentials, coffee on counter, bread, fresh fruit, laundry supplies, area recommendations for things to see & where to dine. Great communication via texts with hosts. Easy check in & check out. Highly recommend if you are visiting the area. Great home base for exploring the Olympic Peninsula❤️

A Fantastic Experience

Absolutely loved my stay at Loftlorien! The hosts went above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed our stay, with tons of resources about things to do in the area, park maps, etc. The house is clean and well maintained with a well stocked fridge. The beds were super comfortable and it was a blast from the past to play Galaga and Ms. Pac-Man. Highly recommend this location!

Lovely place, Great Home Base

Such a gorgeous location, comfy furniture and lovely amenities. So well stocked! Super nice linens. Quiet. So peaceful. Kind and helpful owners. They thought of everything! Beautiful view of Blue Mountain and other mountains out the windows. Highly recommend!

A great getaway

I had a great stay here! Me and my partner loved the loft and had everything we needed for our time there. We used it as a base to explore Olympic National Park and the surrounding area. Lovely property.

Not long enough

We loved the quietness of this property during a very busy 5 days in PA. The property is about 23 minutes from Peninsula college for reference. Once we left for the day we didn’t head back until night time. We would stay again for a relaxing visit! Thank you!!

Perfect spot for visiting the peninsula

Most well equipped VRBO ever. Perfect for 2 adults & 2 teens. Property mgr provided much needed info. Close to lavender farms & national park. Wildlife abundant. Private with view of mountains. Will definitely be back.

Perfect base to explore Olympic National Park

This property is outstanding. The loft was clean, quiet, in a secluded area. The pantry and refrigerator were stocked with various dried or frozen foods, snacks and drinks,. The host even stocked up on basic groceries staples just before we arrived! Jamie and Ben are very organized, thoughtful and caring hosts. We enjoyed our stay very much and felt very comfortable there.

Amazing base camp - take time to hang here!

We had an amazing stay. The bed it super comfy, the kitchen is well stocked, we enjoyed laughing, playing board games and PAC Man. Queen bed and a day bed in the living room. The window seat is a perfect place to read a book and snuggle under a blanket in the early morning. This is a 1/1 above a garage on 5 acres. The only unit on the property - and the owners are top notch! Great View on the back porch. If it’s not booked, grab it before it’s gone!

Wonderful Stay!

Jamie is a marvelous host. She was so helpful and considerate. The area was so spacious and beautifully decorated. Cabinets were labeled and kitchen was well stocked. There is no air conditioning but the provided fans did the trick.

Serenity and comfort oasis near Blue Mountain

We enjoyed our stay immensely for three nights, relaxing and grilling on the deck with a beautiful view of the mountain, sunset, and friendly deer. Jamie & Ben were gracious hosts and we felt at home immediately. We appreciated the welcome gift and extra provisions. The master bed was so extremely comfortable and we slept well with the fresh country air cooling the apartment in the evening. There were fans that helped. We enjoyed games and had a great parent vs teens Ms. Pac woman tournament and the kids enjoyed the ping pong table,too. Thanks for the suggestion of the Blue Mtn hike- it was an incredible view!

Extremely nice property

We really enjoyed the stay. It was a very nice property that was extremely clean and quiet. It is close to Hurricane Ridge (about 20 mins by driving) and going to the city of Harbor Angeles is quite easy. The owner prepared everything for a family to stay, including drinks, eggs, and some bread. Communication with the host is very easy, and they always respond in a few minutes (sometimes instantly). Overall, very nice experience, and definitely recommend to anyone!

Loftlorien-An Incredible Space with Incredible Hosts!

Loftlorien is an eclectic and comfortable space. My family and I stayed with Jamie & Ben whilst exploring the Olympic Peninsula. Jamie and Ben could not have been more accommodating. They were invested in our vacation as if it was there own. They were extremely patient, unbelievably courteous, & helpful when answering our questions and offering recommendations to enhance our stay @ Loftlorien and the Olympic Peninsula. An amazing vacation and stay, one we cannot wait to replicate again in the near future! -Hugh

We loved it here! It's set in a magical environment surrounded by mountains, pastures, and trees and the unit itself is whimsically decorated and tucks into the environment perfectly. Everything we could possibly need was thoughtfully provided. We didn't want to leave!

Perfect North Olympic Home Base

Hands down the best vacation rental experience I've ever had. The hosts were absolutely perfect and so thoughtful to even provide some staples in the fridge as well as a lovely welcome bottle of wine. The apartment was clean, very well stocked, comfortable, spacious, and private. A very relaxing base in a beautiful setting to come back to after a long day of hiking and exploring the area. My only regret is that we didn't get to meet Jamie and Ben in person, and I wish we could have stayed longer!

Peaceful Bliss

First of all, the communication between us and the owners of the property, Jamie and Ben, was seamless and prompt. Any and all questions were answered immediately. The property was all that was advertised. Deer visited every day. The Blue Mountain was out every day. Everything in the apartment was clean, in newer condition and worked well. The platform bed, albeit high (I'm 5'2"), was super comfy! Everything was well stocked. Great location for going to Port Angeles and places north and east. Great location for going to Sequim and places south. All cupboards, drawers, pullouts had labels on them so you knew exactly where to find whatever. I told Jamie that we've stayed and many, MANY VRBO's in our lives, from Washington, Oregon, California and Hawaii. Their apartment goes down as one of the best appointed we've been in. Thank you Jamie and Ben! We had a very much needed respite from this last hard year. We WILL be back :) Pat and John

Olympic National Park Adventure

Loftlorien was a great place for our trip to do a few hikes in Olympic National Park and visit the Port Angeles area. The loft was very clean and well furnished. My wife loved the large fluffy towels in the bathroom - so soft! The leather couch and chairs were perfect for relaxing after doing day hikes in the park. The bed was a little soft for us and the the gravel road to the property will get your car pretty dirty. Other than those minor issues, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Loftlorien. Jamie was excellent! She contacted us a couple days before we arrived to make sure we had all the info we needed for our stay. We appreciated the communication! It made for a wonderful trip!

Better than advertised

Stayed with my wife and our 1 year old and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Loftlorien! Hosts could not have been more accommodating and the space was incredibly well thought out and comfortable. A perfect base camp for exploring Olympic NP. If we ever venture up this way again I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Absolutely perfect!

This VRBO is amazing! The hosts are kind, responsive, and thought of every detail. The setting is beautiful and we thoroughly enjoyed hiking in Olympic every day and relaxing at Loft Lorien in the evening. I wish I could give more than 5 stars…this is the perfect place to stay!

Welcome to Loftlorien, a magical sanctuary. We are Ben and Jamie Roberts and we are so excited to share our space with you. We grew up in Alaska, where everything is big, wild, and free. We have dreamt for many years of getting back into nature and jumped on the opportunity to be here on the amazing Olympic Peninsula.
A little about us-- we have lived all over the country, seeking our own paradise. Most of the last 20 years, we lived in Eastern Washington. We moved here in 2021, and know this is our forever home. We love hiking, paddleboarding, exploring new areas, beach combing, and playing with our 3 little dogs. Ben is an alternative energy researcher and able to fix or make anything! Jamie is a yogi, reiki practitioner, plant lover, and art dabbler. She is mesmerized by the magic in nature!

Our property is a really special place-- it is half way between Sequim and Port Angeles. We have INCREDIBLE mountain views and a unique spot where the sun shines almost everyday! We have tons a wildlife that frequents our land. The sunsets are spectacular, and the dark sky is AWESOME!
