Great cozy little place right on the water and only a few steps away from the state park. The pizza farm nearby was awesome too!

Not a good stay. Got my pontoon reservation refunded.
My check in time was three in the afternoon and I arrived around nine which was just fine. In the middle of the night I got up to go to the bathroom. I noticed someone was peeking in to the window with a flashlight, which didn’t set very well with me. After not sleeping after that, I woke up in the morning to go fishing. I had reserve and rented the pontoon boat For myself to take out onto the lake so I could use it to go fishing. It was not ready. I did get in contact with the host who told me that he was going to try to get a hold of someone who could get the boat ready. I was ready to go fishing at 6:30 in the morning and it was 10 o’clock and the boat was still not ready. As I was waiting, I went into use the bathroom just to find out that the toilet was plugged up. My overall was not I was hoping or expecting.
I was only there for 12 hours. I contacted the host and asked for a refund. I didn’t even mind paying for one day. I was only returned my money on the pontoon boat that I never had the opportunity to use anyway.
I would give communication a three on a scale from one to 10
The property I will say was just like the picture showed and was a nice little set up. Unfortunately, after all of those events, I’m extremely disappointed and not getting more of my money back and things weren’t ready to go. I drove from Iowa to Minnesota just to drive back to Iowa.
My family and I rented both houses right next to each other. The set up was nice as one of the houses had a nice back deck overlooking the lake with plenty of room to hang out and enjoy the outdoors. The host was great and even brought us some fresh vegetables one afternoon from his garden. We really enjoyed our stay.
Such a cute cabin! Perfect place to unwind. The evenings were peaceful and so quiet! The firepit was a great way to unwind each night. The host was easy to communicate with. I would definitely stay here again.
Cabin was perfect for what we were looking for over the weekend. It was also very well stocked with necessities, was clean, comfortable and we loved the deck and lake views. We had friends staying at Kamp Dels so this arrangement worked perfectly for us.

Very comfortable property. Kept very nice, beautiful lake views.
We very much enjoyed this cabin on the lake. The cabin itself was really nice and well maintained. Full kitchen, beautiful view out the back door. There is a trail with easy access to get on from the house. The whole weekend was wonderful and relaxing.
This is a small, charming cabin of recent construction. The interior is rustic in a sophisticated manner, if that makes sense. The lakefront view is terrific, and the kitchen is great. There are charcoal and gas grills available for use, with appropriate utensils. Once I got the Wi-Fi password, the internet connectivity was excellent. (I would recommend finding out the password ahead of time, which I neglected to do.) The property manager came to welcome us and give us entry information. The small town of Waterville (population about 1,500) is surprisingly cosmopolitan: although the only restaurant serves Mexican cuisine, it was first-rate Mexican food, rivalling anything I've had in much larger cities; and the local grocery store is well stocked, and offers locally made bacon, bratwurst and other meats that we found delicious. Be sure you have a streaming account with a TV provider -- Hulu or the like; we don't. All-in-all, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Property is what the pictures show. Very clean and Darrell was super to work with and gave us a “lay of the land” for some spots to visit! We will be back!

Our family had a wonderful stay at this cabin. We enjoyed the view over looking the lake, campfires at night, and kayaking during the day. The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful. The cabin was cozy and clean and the bed was very comfortable. Hoping to go back next summer.
Very nice cabin with a great view. Manager was very easy to contact and work with.

Everything was very good with the property except the futon that I had to sleep on was in need of a new mattress. We wanted to fish off the dock but there was too much seaweed but we made other arrangements.
This quaint, cozy, country cabin was more perfect than I could imagine; my duck hunting husband would have loved it, too.
My niece (a nature photographer) and I spent our mornings glassing all the birds (egrets, ducks, heron, pelicans and more) on the water while hummingbirds, robins, and others fluttered nearby.
The nearby trail was easy access, as was a coffee house, downtown of Waterville and grocery.
Daryl was a delightful, kind host who checked on our every need.
I hope an opportunity arises for me to return to his rental.
Don’t forget your binoculars for this lovely, surprisingly quiet location.
Quick getaway weekend for my husbands 60th birthday was so relaxing! Darrell described the property to a tea! He communicated well and even came to check out the issue with the on demand water heater. A bad censor didn’t dampen our weekend as we just boiled water for cleaning dishes, etc. Cabin stated nice and warm on this cold Minnesota weekend! We already planned to come back and enjoy it during summer months!
